I can't wait for GBA games I only had two GBA games (Three but it was bundled with the game I wanted): Metroid Zero Mission, Gunstar Super Heroes, and Spyro Orange (It was bundled with Metroid Zero Mission; I didn't like it so I sold it)

So I will purchase many GBA games since I only played those 3 games.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

I wasn't really making whiny complaints. All I said was Windwaker sucks fucking ass through a straw, it's one of the worst Zelda games. I fucking despise it. They mayaswell release that shitty fucking Starfox game from the gamecube too, it was about as good.

And Yoshis yarn looks like LBP.

That was what I said. Fuck Windwaker.

I also said that Xenoblade 2 looks awesome.

I could be like you I guess and go OMFG WINDWAKER HD REMAKE NINTENDO KNOWS WHAT THE FANS WANT RERELEASE OF ONE OF THE SHITTIEST FUCKING ZELDA GAMES FUCK YA WOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Shin Megami and Persona are not the same thing. Shin Megami usually involves the End of the World and its Rebirth. They usually center around the Maiden that brings about the end and birth and endless battles between Man, God and Satan. You can recruit Demons to your side by Bribes, Persuading them to Join you and/or Fusing Demons together to form New Ones. They are totally bad-ass and heretical and as far away from Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior as you could possible get. Utterly cool and I absolutely LOVE them!!

Got around to playing the Metal Gear Rising demo and oh man is it ever awesome. Metal Gear and Platinum Games is a match made in heaven. The game looks great and plays excellent. The slicing mechanic is very cool. Definite purchase for me and it's less then a month away now. Damn there's going to be a lot of great games coming out in the next few months.

Well Leo is obviously the exception. I hear that on a cloudless night, when his mood is just right you can see his wang from space.

The great wall of wang they call it.

They never were until they brought the Persona series to the US. Why they felt the need to title them like that here, I'll never understand. The only --TRUE-- SMT games to come out to this country so far have been Nocturne and Strange Journey.

Shin Megami Tensei literally translates to "True Goddess Reincarnation." While that makes perfect sense for the regular series' games, it makes NO sense for the Persona series.

Nintendo Patent Covers Massively Single-Player Online Games

Get the benefits of an MMO without actually having to interact with any jerks.

Read this:

The patent is titled "Massively Single-Playing Online Game" and is described as, "A method and apparatus that allows a player to play a massively single-player online game without directly interacting with other players, while affecting and being affected by other players playing the online game."

When playing most MMOs, you inevitably encounter other players. You don't necessarily have to play with them, but the game encourages you to and actually running into them is usually unavoidable. The patent is for a "method for playing a massively multiplayer online game without requiring interaction with other player characters." Essentially, it opens the door for actions in your single-player game affecting another player's world without the two ever directly playing together.

It's a very Nintendo-centric idea, as it's always made safety a high priority. One example of what this could allow for is a player spreading gossip to an NPC, which it in turn shares with another player. It sounds like something that would be seen in a game such as Animal Crossing.

Another example of how this could work is the value of in-game items going up or down (or even becoming unavailable) depending upon real-world player demand. Obviously that opens the door for griefing, though if it were ever implemented, presumably there would be the option to opt out. The idea of only being able to interact with friends or those you "authorize" is specifically mentioned.

Yet another possibility is a user who explores the world and finds building materials and decides to construct a house. He or she moves on after doing so, and when the next player comes along to that same location, they see the house that was constructed as opposed to the building materials.

"A high degree of interactivity in real time in RPGs is attractive to many players," the patent states. "However, some players may not want social interaction while nevertheless enjoying the benefit of a very dynamic virtual world. For example, it would be beneficial to provide a method and a system that allows a single player to play a game without the player having to interact with other players playing the game at the same time. However, it would be desirable if the player's avatar's actions still affect the status of the game and the status of other avatars, like in the conventional multiplayer games, even though the game being played is a single-player game from the perspective of each participant of the game."

Alternatively, this could serve almost as a form of asynchronous multiplayer where players are able to have an impact on a friend's game without having to be online at the same time.

The implementation of this could come on a "home video game system such as the Nintendo Wii 3D video game system, a Nintendo DS or other 3D capable interactive computer graphics display systems." It's unclear what the Wii 3D system is; Nintendo has talked about playing around with a 3D-enabled Wii, but the relatively low penetration of 3D TVs and the overall lack of glasses-free 3D TV sets made it an unlikely hook for a Wii follow-up. For what it's worth, "Wii 3D" is also mentioned in several other patent applications.

And keep in mind that's what this is -- a patent. Strange Nintendo patents have surfaced in the past, and very often nothing ever becomes of them. Of course, the notion of a massively single-player online game (MSOG?) seems entirely possible (and is much more likely than sticking your Wiimote into a bicycle pedal), so don't rule it out as something we eventually see from Nintendo.

Yup this X game is going to be incredible. Its everything Versus promised and more.

GG good job picking the trailer apart.

You have to really pay attention to see everything going on. It was all realtime, I thought for a sec the inside of the mech wasn't. So you run about in 3rd person, swords and guns, weapon switching over the shoulder shooting, you have an MMO style chatter feed in the bottom left. You can jump into a flying mech which can also transform into a motorbike. You fight even bigger monsters in your mech and can go inside the mech for a camera view to shoot. You also fight bigger mechs.

RE Revelations Unveiled Edition

Famitsu this week has a follow-up report on Resident Evil: Revelations for console and PC, announced by publisher Capcom yesterday morning.

The magazine boasts that the game is “not a simple port!” The levels have been upgraded, so hardly any of them resemble the original edition. There are vivid bloodstains on the floor, and the tempo has new creatures have given the tempo a great shift. Encounters with the original enemies now take place in different situations. When original enemies come out, it’s a situation where you’re pressed for a divergence of some sort.

Players can also sell weapons obtained in Raid Mode that they don’t need.

Of course, the game’s resolution has been upgraded. The imagery is more dramatic than the original 3DS release. The 3D models and lighting have been edited, as well, and the character CGs have been revised.

In Japan, the game is dubbed the “Unveiled Edition,” because every step you take in the game is like a veil being lifted, according to producer Tsukasa Takenaka.

Capcom is also looking into incorporating an element similar to the StreetPass features from the 3DS version. There is an additional character, too (Hunk, confirmed yesterday). Capcom says if you enjoyed Resident Evil 6, you’ll also enjoy Revelations

And

As Takenaka puts it, the game (officially titled Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition in Japan) is practically a brand-new project in terms of getting the visuals up to HD standards. "A lot of people said the graphics were great on the original as well," he said, "but with this, it's not just about supporting HD resolutions. We've done much more to it than that. It's been upgraded to the point where you can find almost nothing that's the same visually as the original. For example, Chris has a carrying case in the snowy mountain sections, but this actually serves as a first-aid kit, and it comes with a small pair of scissors and other medical equipment. All those little details get depicted here."

Takenaka also discussed new features for gamers familiar with the 3DS title, including a new creature — a fleshy alien-like creature shown in the debut trailer. "This new creature is a type that hasn't been around before," he told Famitsu. "It serves to greatly change the tempo of the game. I think it's unique in that players will be faced with a decision whenever they have an encounter with it, like 'What's the best thing to do here?' You'll also run into the previous creatures in different situations from the original."
Revelations' co-op Raid Mode is also getting a boost, from new weapons to the introduction of long-running RE supporting character Hunk. "There are more weapon types available in Raid Mode now," Takenaka said, "since collecting weapons is part of the whole charm of the thing. However, just throwing them all in would wreck the game balance, so all the enemy positions and items have been fine-tuned as well. Hunk is gifted in martial-arts moves, so I think he'll provide a different sort of fun from Jill and Chris. It'll be hard to replicate the StreetPass features on consoles, but we're thinking of ways to include them in some sort of workable form."
