I am going to start the last mission of Dishonored. This game is a classic case of showing loads of potential at the start but as you keep playing you realize they didnt come close to reaching the full potential. It seems  short too. But its still a great game and I cant wait to play it full stealth.

I just finished the game and I couldn't agree more.  I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting from this, maybe something a little more open world, with a bigger variety of weapons and powers.  The powers they allowed you to have we're cool, just not quite enough.

The powers are all dwarfed by the upgraded timestop in dishonored. I literally ran through sections of that game spamming timestop. The other powers are "neat" but useless in comparison. You need your sight power and that power and you are good to go. Still its later on when you get it so that kind of balances it out.

I enjoyed the game a lot, my only complaint was the shitty graphics, game looks like it came out 10 years ago.

Assassin's Creed 3 impresses! I thought I would be bored of the series after 4 games, but the new setting and characters help. Ben Franklin is a riot.  It also helps that you start the game with a bang.   Boston looks great, nice textures, shading and lighting.  I didn't think it could improve on the visuals of 2, but I believe it has.  I can't wait to see what kind of direction this story takes me.

On a side note, playing an Assassin's Creed game during the Christmas holidays has been sort of a tradition.  My wife has gotten the last four games for a Christmas present.

What's up whores? I've been on vacation in my hometown since last sunday. Still halfway through my time off work so plenty of days left to be lazy. Sadly I didn't bring any console with me this time and besides my PS3 is in repairs, so I've been only checking out steam's horrible sale and nabbing a few amazon deals here and there. Nothing beats Lego LOTR and Scribblenauts Unlimited at $7.50 a pop. I also picked up some cheapo Dreamcast pack for $5. I wanted to try Sega Bass Fishing, but it also came with some other weird shit like a dancing game,  a sonic adventure game (barf!) and jest set something whatever.

All I've ever played is some DEFCON in my netbook. :/

Sounds like you got Space Channel 5, Sonic Adventure, and Jet Set Radio?? Stick with Sonic. It's the best of the group.

Basically:

Gamersgate is taking a lot of (deserved) flak because they fucked up massively by putting a series of wrong deals for unbelievable prices these past few days. Stuff like a Bethesda pack with $300 bucks of games or so for about $28, the new Ghost Recon game for $5 and a Borderlands 2 4-pack for something ridiculous like $10. Many people took advantage of the wrong pricing, some of them got steam keys and redeemed them, lots more were waiting on GG to send more keys, but today they started taking off the games from people's Gamersgate accounts and sending refunds to people. Shit is a clusterfuck right now.
