Okay Bear here is how the Wii U shop appears to me.
This is the top of the page, you can easily search for something, look at the charts, the notification bulb lights up with info. Then the games are there with big icons, easily identified.
Just under in the middle of the page are icons for categories, demos and videos are clearly there. Under that are more recentely released games.
At the bottom of the page you have sections for download exclusives, obviously games which are not on disc, this is where you find all the indie games. Demos again. A full price retail section for disc based games. Apps for netflix UPlay etc, a 3DS section, self explanatory. Then recent stuff.
It's all very easy and logical and pleasent to use. The one thing don't like is a tiny delay when starting videos, they flash up that message about quality instead of just starting the video.
We don't have any of those orange tabs at the top. or the menu at the button at all. You can imagine why I'm upset the fact that you have those and we don't in North America thats unacceptable to me. Nintendo sucks.
I could post pics if you tell me how. Do I need to put them on a website? it seems I can't post pics directly.
Yeah bear, upload them to some hosting site such as min.us
Wow really? I was wondering why? I thought it was a standard layout for worldwide. Our eShop works very well, it's one of the best features.
Upload pics to tinypic.com, then when you have the direct link (copy/paste) hit the picture button on our editor with the house, paste it in.

Yeah US store looks a tad barebones compared to the european extravaganza.
This pretty much sums it up (this is Kezza from IGN UK):
"...Dead Souls' shooting mechanics are horrible. Aiming in first-person is amazingly slow and cumbersome and you rarely have the chance to fire off more than a few shots before the fast-moving undead are upon you. The generous auto-aim doesn't help much, mostly because the camera regularly decides that you'd rather be aiming at the wall in front of you than the crowd of zombies behind you. Turning around takes ages, and you regularly end up backed into a corner with a group of zombies as the camera stubbornly refuses to co-operate, stuck in repeated hit animations and unable to retaliate or escape."
I have been playing in free shoot mode which has the effect of turning it into a dual-stick shooter in the style of SmashTV or Geometry Wars. I just run from side to side of the screen keeping the character in profile. It's working so far.
I am now halfway through, hoping to beat it before Saturday.
It does not do what you would think, it really does suck. I don't understand why yours is so much better when we have the same product Nintendo US really does suck.
and Leo. You'd probably like it too. You love Doom, so go for it!
Yeah, I know that. I was wondering if you were still doing a 180 whenever you went into aiming which shouldn't have been happening. I didn't end up booting it up anyway.
The only thing I'd say is, it's better if you think of it as an RPG. Max out headshot auto-aim and then snap into aiming and you can headshot automatically when you need to, then go back to normal third person shooting (and still get a good bunch fo headshots) for large groups. I think that was how it worked. Sniper rifle in first person + headshot skill=pure devastation on even the the hardest of enemies.
Minus points for quoting IGN instead of me, though.
I'm almost done with the third story, so whatever I am doing I am getting by.
The third act I am completely ignoring the story, I've never found Ryoji Goda to be an interesting character. Almost on Kaz' part.
Bosses are fairly lame, I just beat the strip club one.
Yeah, the bosses suck, though it's a pity that they didn't all appear in the world after you killed them like the mini-bosses. They would have added some much needed challenge and variety to proceedings.
Hah Try Chicago Vader.
"I live in a nice house. I have two cars. My son goes to a nice school. We take one holiday a year. By anybody's measure, you wouldn't call me wealthy,"
This sentence...wtf.
It's like he's as disconnected from real-world issues as he is from game design nowadays.
