Someone tell me what's up? I thought the u pad screen was average, then I play Mighty Switch force on it and it's crisp and colourful, no artifacts or jaggies etc. No meaningful colour loss. Looks great. I hear that different games handle pad screen output natively at 480p, others downscale from 720p. I guess the downscaling  process has the same effect as upscaling - not a great picture?

Have you seen Mario on the small screen? It looks great, games with lots of bright colors and a very colorful range look very good on the pad, games with darker grittier looks, look dull and washed out. its a pretty much known quality of the pad.

GG you wanted to know what is going on at GS. Well besides the four threads about how wii u will fail, the active one is now talking about how Nintendo has been the safest least influencial console maker. Apparently changing they've way we play our games which is something no one has done in like 20 years was an obvious safe move. Never mind that everyone thought motion controls would fail and eventually succeeded to the point where the other companies copied what Nintendo did. Lets ignore all that.

But even Nintendoland is somewhat washed out and jaggy on the pad, Mighty Switch Force is almost perfect. Couldn't devs just up the colour saturation for the u pad output to prevent this effect?
