Congrats to Microsoft on the great Black Friday week sales. The 360 has an excellent library of games and I love how much the system has grown since it first launch with many great apps added in and the creation of Avatars. I look forward to the 720. Halo 4 is a fantastic game so kudos there as well.

Amazon is awesome! Okay, I pre-ordered Epic Mickey 2 on Amazon a couple weeks ago for $39.99. The Xbox could even do HD  I had several games in 720P on the behemoth. Wi on it's best never  looked better than Xbox 1.

Mandatory system updates for modern consoles needs to fucking stop.

I had about 30 minutes left before I need to so to sleep, so I figured I'd play a couple games of Pac-man on my 360. I turn on the system, and there's a system update. I click no, and go to load my game, but it won't load because there's a REQUIRED update before I can play a 32 year old arcade game? WTF? It's still downloading as I type this, and it's been 13 minutes. After this "update" I'm going to disable online on all of my consoles because this is fucking ridiculous. MS, Sony, and Nintendo, your system updates can suck my dick. /rant

I have to say one thing, I don't know your internet speed  but for me 360 updates are painless compared to Nintendo and Sony. This latest update ? for me about 60 seconds for start to finish.  Now PS3 or Wii U  thats a different story I can imagine if this 360 update takes you 15 20 minutes, the PS3 and Wii U must take hours.

I just tested my internet speed:

10.38MB/s

What kind of speed do I need for this to work properly? I can stream HD video without waiting, but download a console update takes 15 minutes. WTF? Yeah, it's slow on PS3 as well. Hella slooooow.

yeah I'm 2.5 times that and 4 times the upload. Ping is about 9 seconds here too sorry...
