I cancelled my PS3 pre-order, and ordered the WIi version instead. IR controls + lower price > HD graphics.
Destructoid gave it a 2/10? I swear, all of these negative reviews has made me even more excited to play it.
I have to admit, I kinda wish I was getting a Wii U tomorrow. I don't care for the Upad much, but Rayman Legends looks sooo amazing!
Now you can use that extra $10 you saved to buy Dive.

My Wii U is sitting in Gamestop's backroom right now...so unfair.
So whats everyones plan for tonight, anyone getting it. I assume most all of us have to wait till tomorrow. I will be on the web reading gaf impressions while totally upset I cant experience a launch. Maybe there will be a podcast to record...

I will be alternating between playing X Com and trying to sleep off a MEGA-cold I seemed to catch playing in sewage, mold and canal water most of last week. I'm kinda disappointed that a good portion of the launch titles are turning out to be duds. I think I am going to return my ZombiU and Power of Illusion pre-orders sometime AFTER tomorrow as to not cause any extra trouble for the (sure to be overworked) GameStop guys tomorrow!
Epic Mickey does seem crappy. But is the GS review scaring you from ZombiU. Dont pay any attention to those guys. Here is what Jim Sterling said about the GS "leak"

999 is the greatest game to fall asleep to ever. I wish I could say more but every time I start to play it I fall asleep 10 minutes later. I should play it during the day some time.
Remember, I am one of the few who actually got Dead Island and played a good amount of it, despite IT'S reception and lukewarm reviews. There's just something about ZombiU that's just giving me cold feet. I wasn't even going to pre-order it at first, but the GameStop guy was so enthusiastic about it, I put the money down.

Man all those old systems coming with two controllers and one of the best games of all time packed in. Stupid other companies ruined all that.

I can't believe Gamestop isn't doing a midnight launch for a new Nintendo console, yet they do one for a game like Borderlands. I mean cmon...
Really...is everyone seriously convinced Zombi U isn't a good game just because of one review from Gamespot? Who suck at reviews these days? That is the only major site that has released a review as of yet that I have seen. Most impressions have been very positive, so again I find it hard to believe its not at LEAST a 7.5 game.
Like I said during the RE6 review stuff...almost every game these days gets at least 1 bad review or 1 review that's totally off from what everyone else says...in fact this seemed to start last gen. Games like Eternal Darkness were getting 4.5's from one guy, and a 9.0 from another guy IN THE SAME ISSUE OF EGM from cryin' out loud.
So the best thing to do is wait until most major reviews are out and average them out.

Yeah, I just looked it up. Crazy. That was the only game I really wanted from the launch lineup. So glad I didn't bother pre-ordering a Wii U then.
