Check this video at 5 mins 26 seconds it shows the Nintendoland hub in more detail. Wow, those are the kinds of games I want to play in HD, colourful and crazy.
I'd be rich maybe if I didn't spend all my money gaming.![cheeky cheeky](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
That's the webcam on the cash register when Edgecrusher bought his new PC.
I don't like that yellow line. >_<
Ass Creed reviews in less than 10 minutes.
Here they come:
Destructoid - 7.5
IGN - 8.5
CVG - 8
Polygon - 8
WTF?????
Wow 8s and 7s across the board for AC3. I expected a major improvement, guess its not. I am sure its still a great game though as all AC are.
Plus the 3 reviews from earlier today:
Official Xbox Magazine Italy: 10/10 - "An absolute masterpiece to which the experience remains indispensable for any fan of video games and beyond, with a depth of gameplay and longevity unparalleled in the action scene, a game that will remain in the annals for a long time."
X360 Magazine: 9/10 - "Like any game of such scope, not every part of it is perfect. Yet, taken as a whole, there is very little that can compete with its wonderful, lavish, historical playground."
Meristation (Spanish translation): 8.5 - Positives: Historical setting, naval battles, interesting Desmond sections, environments and weather, hundreds of side quests. Negatives: bugs, slow start, enemy AI and cropped draw distances.
8.5 GS
9.2 GT
Hopefully Halo 4 ends up better. So whats the GOTY frontrunner right now? ME3, Dishonored?
I can see Dishonored getting a lot of nods for being new.
The new Need for Speed title looks pretty tasty.
Ass creed 3 reviews
Edge: 8/10 - A refreshed, rejuvenated Assassins' Creed; a solid foundation upon which the yearly iterative release cycle can be maintained; and a sprawling, detailed adventure to enjoy
OXM: 8/10 - ACIII does what no-one really expected it to: it draws together the plots of the precursors, Desmond and Connor. In writing this review, we've been cautious to avoid even the gentlest spoilers. However, we can say that instead of being left thinking "you what, mate?", at the end of this game, you'll be left thinking "oh, sweet gods - what now?"
OPM: 7/10 - In a year when Dishonored and Hitman: Absolution have shown just how well stealth games can be realised, Assassin's Creed's take on unseen murder is stuck in the past - doubly so when we were led to expect so much more. We were promised a revolution, but very little has changed.
Eurogamer: 9/10 - The biggest and richest Assassin's Creed game to date - maybe not the best, but a place where, for want of a better expression, everything is permitted.
Game Informer: 9.5/10 - n overwhelming experience in its own right, Assassin's Creed III is the crown jewel on an already excellent series, and it sets the mind reeling about the potential for where the story goes from here.
GameSpot: 8.5/10 - Assassin's Creed III is a big game that gives you a lot to do, some of which is fleshed out relatively well, and some of which isn't. It is not, however, content to rest on the series' laurels. It takes chances with its opening, with its story, and with its characters. It expands the series' gameplay in enjoyable and sensible ways.
Joystiq: 3.5/5 - It's sad to see the game lose sight of its assassin role-playing ideals in favor of bombast, bomb blasts and pig herding, so I hope this is but a momentary stumble while the franchise regains its balance. Trim the excess, remember the central thrust (hint: it's with a knife) and then you'll have a great game again.
Destructoid: 7.5/10 - When it comes right down to it, cohesion (or lack thereof) is the main issue with Assassin's Creed III. There are dozens of secondary elements which make up the content of the game, but they offer little in terms of reward and rarely contribute anything to the Assassin/Templar conflict.
Polygon: 8/10 - Even knowing that I'll encounter issues that make the game occasionally infuriating, I want to go back. And that, despite Assassin's Creed 3's flaws, is more than I can say for most games.
VentureBeat: 79/100 - I'd put it smack in the middle of the franchise ... superior to the first game and last year's Revelations, but nowhere close to Assassin's Creed II or Brotherhood's greatness.
Digital Spy: 5/5 - With a campaign offering anything up to 70 hours worth of gameplay, not to mention a comprehensive multiplayer mode, Assassin's Creed 3 is one of the most complete action-adventure games we've ever played.
VideoGamer: 7/10 - As extraordinary as the scale and scope of this huge production can be at times, you're left with a bloated reminder that bigger isn't always better.
IGN: 8.5/10 - Huge but inconsistent, Assassin's Creed III is an impressive adventure that succeeds in most of what it attempts.
Yes, it does. I love me a good arcade racer.
Low Ass Creed 3 reviews make Edgecrusher AAAANGRY!
How is this game scoring lower than Revelations? It seems like a big step up. Weird. I will save judgement for the full game.![cool cool](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-cool.gif)
I really thought we had an AC2 level jump with this one. Sounds like its not but I will get it regardless.
Unlike you ubder-dorks I have held off buying more AC games till this one so I'm jonesing for some more assasin action.
