999 is a good game to play when you are in a hotel room somewhere with time to kill. Just remember, if the reading sections go on for too long you can save at any point and go back to it. Yeah, it has a digital bookmark...
I can't wait for one of us (myself included) to see the FINAL, GOOD ending... I'm going to have to make time to do just that before the sequel comes out in October!
But Uncharted 3 was their #1 game no excuse for that. Uncharted 2 is just better.

Modern day game reviewers are pussified whiners that can't tolerate a bit of challenge and have no idea games existed before the invention of the original Xbox.
Case in point.
I am nearing the end of Deadlight, I think. I am sooo glad I DID NOT listen to Fatman's review. I grew up on games like this and find the whole package as nostalgic as it is creepy! Destructoid --REALLY-- needs to get a new Reviews Editor. It's not that I just disagree; this guy seems to bitch more than any other reviewer out there. He hates anything that's --NOT-- Dynasty Warriors, and anything that is by Nintendo, Sega and games that present any challenge whatsoever.

Yep! Totally and completely! Don't get me wrong, it's not the BEST GAME EVAR...!!!
...but it's a very well done, enjoyable Downloadable take on that exact game genre... I can think of very few games I would put under the same classification: Prince of Persia, Out of this World, Flashback, Heart of Darkness, Abes Odyssey... and now Deadlight! That's pretty much it! (For consoles that I remember at least!)
Deadlight is an AB-SO-LUTE-LY perfect "Weekend" game. Maybe a little pricey for one weekend's entertainment, but that's just about the committment it requires. That can be either a good thing or a bad thing in certain people's eyes!
**Just as a side note: Not many games can un-nerve me, but there's one scene in the game where you emerge from a building and see a sky-scraper on fire... This isn't exactly the scene --BUT-- the image immediately brought to mind 9/11 and... wow... unsettling.**
