Europe and Japan are.
WTF. I have never seen a console miss out on so many games, what is with NA Nintendo, this is moronic. If I buy a console I expect every relevant game to be releases. By rule if it is out in EU it needs to be in NA.
Last Story and Xenoblade are coming out. Have faith.
Great game or GREATEST game?
The magestic graphics.
All that bear needs is a staff and hat and he could be Gandalf at the bridge of Khazadum.
That wolf is screwed. But hey, tigers don't hang around in packs.
Holee shiiiit. Read this:
"For some awesome reason Tokyo Jungle has dinosaurs like a tyrannosaurs rex and, according to this week’s issue of Famitsu, a pterandon. Tokyo Jungle also lets players be a salmon (?!)"
USA boxart.
Worst boxart I've seen in a while, its like japanese rpg obscure artwork. It looks nothing like the game or anything Ghibli related.
So Game UK is the largest game retailer franchise in the UK and pretty much the whole retail store market presence. They are fucked at the moment, they have credit problems, sales are down 25% and they aren't even stocking new titles like any of Ubisofts Vita games and now the Last Story too.
Do you guys in America or Austrailia have a big retailer like this and can you imagine it in a situation where they didn't even stock new titles?
Ive seen a few mom and pop stores do stuff like that but I've never seen a major retailer do it. That cannot be a good sign for them.
There were two big chains, Gamestation and Game but Gamestation was a smaller chain. Game bought them and bought a popular and good service internet seller gameplay.com
Now they have shutdown gameplay.com, can't get credit and publishers wont give them games on credit because of their financial situation. Before Game came along as a major chain we basically had mom and pop game stores that stocked selected items or big electronics chains that had a pitiful selection of games.
It's looking more like the future of videogame selling in the UK will be online or selected titles sold at supermarkets and TV shops.
I should get back to L.A. Noire and finish that up, but I've gotten sidetracked by Mass Effect on the PC and trying to replay both games before Mass Effect 3 hits. Luckily, I barely even started Final Fantasy 13.5, so I can just continue on with that one when I get the chance.
Got a new sound card for my PC yesterday. because my on-board sound wasn't cooperating with my reciever. I picked up Creative Labs Sound Blaster, pretty sweet...everything sounds great now. Nice and clear.
GAME is in deep trouble. In North America we have GameStop, which bought up all the smaller chains, and as you know from the stories we post they are doing great every quarter. In Australia we have GAME and another place called Games for Less or something like that. GAME is identical to GameStop. The second chain I mentioned is nicer, they carry old consoles and games.
As I hear on the UK podcasts GAME is the only dedicated gaming retailer in the UK right? Like Stores like "HMV" and "Tessco" stock other things like movies and groceries but also games?
In any case, if GAME goes online only (which looks like the pattern) that sucks for UK gamers.
Marvel Characters in Kingdom Hearts would be a great idea. Unfortunately that won't be happening for a while. The Marvel video game rights are still all over the place right now. Going to be a while before Disney finally gains ultimate control of all of the Marvel properties.
Feature: uDraw We Hardly Knew You
This really is a shame that the uDraw didn't take off more than it did. It was a dropped ball by both Nintendo and Ubisoft. Nintendo should have embraced it more and made a game or two compatible with it. Ubisoft never should have tried to force it onto the 360 and the PS3. It really fit the Wii like a glove. I guess the good news is with the Wii U tablet, we'll more or less have it next gen. I just hope Ubisoft tries to bring back Dood's Big Adventure, as that was a lot of fun.
*cough* THQ *cough*
Maybe they'll get some love when they figure out how to sell the 1.4 million units they could not sell at full price. Incidentally, what where they thinking? Why not start out with, say, 200,000, then make more from there?
It did well on Wii. And it's by THQ, not Ubisoft.
...Wait, what you linked mentions all that stuff, did you read it

As I was saying, THQ made a real mistake trying to sell it on the HD systems.....
Seriously though it was a dropped ball. When it was released during the 2010 holiday season, it was one of the must-own Christmas gifts, and it sold over a million units at near full price. It was a hit. Hopefully the marketing analyst who decided it would sell just fine on the HD systems has been fired. I'm sure there's enough room for him to decide what games NOA should release or Sony will surely have a job for him to market pretty much anything they sell.
And all of you leave me alone. I've had a rough day. I was brutally attacked by some crazy chick in a cat suit when I went to lunch today.

Yeah I saw her at the Con too. I like boobs as much as the next guy (probably more actually), but the combination of those implants and the corset she has sinched way too tight kind of creeped me out.
