I said it would come out.

It’s man vs. machine in a new game coming to Nintendo’s Wii™ console in spring. Xenoblade Chronicles™ asks players to use the Monado blade to take on a seemingly endless series of invading Mechon robots in a sweeping role-playing adventure.

The main character is Shulk, a weapons researcher who must confront the Mechon by wielding the ancient Monado blade. It’s the only weapon that has any effect against the Mechon, and it also enables Shulk to see the future.

Players can customize their characters with a variety of weapons and armor choices, as well as headgear, boots and gloves. As in many role-playing games, players can then gain experience and upgrade their characters. Players can watch their enemies, learn their tactics and unleash real-time counterattacks.

The vast open world of Xenoblade Chronicles is ripe for exploration. Players can avert their focus from the main story and venture out looking for other challenges and side quests. Hidden areas and unique monsters are scattered throughout the game’s massive world, which players can explore freely.

Xenoblade Chronicles has already launched in Japan and Europe, and has received unanimously positive reviews, including several perfect scores.

Xenoblade Chronicles will be available exclusively through U.S. GameStop retail locations, http://www.gamestop.com and http://www.nintendo.com at a suggested retail price of $49.99 in the United States. Additional information about the game will be announced in the future. For more information, visit http://xenobladechronicles.nintendo.com.

"Nintendo has revealed a release window of April 2012. Xenoblade will be offered as a GameStop exclusive at a MSRP of $49.99."

So they're killing its sales already with stupid moves.

Not really. Gamestop is nationwide. The audience that is interested in this game is quite familiar with the store and probably shops there. Plus doing it this way ensures they get some extra upfront cash from Gamestop for it. The only thing really killing its sales is waiting until April of 2012 to sell it instead of this past summer during the Great Wii Drought of 2011.

But it is no Wii U version.

The sales in Europe were probably so good that Gamestop probably financed it.

That is probably there reason it comes over there.

So many probably's in my post. I should probably stop doing that.

P.S. if true, Gamestop does something good for gamers for once. This combined with the fact that Mario Kart 7 has an awesome online functionality is surely a sign of the apocalypse.

Jett Rocket 3DS is not a sequel

Not sure if that's good or bad. Jett Rocket was a good game. Nice throwback to the old N64 3D adventure games. Just the right length too. Wouldn't mind having a sequel to it. Hell, it was supposed to after all. Wonder where that went.

Selling games only through one chain is retarded.

It just doesn't make any sense to be exclusive (unless someone is paying you) you want to sell to the largest audience and market, full stop.

How is it that you speculate freely like you're swinging your penis in the wind? Then when anyone else speculates you tell them to STFU until there are hard facts? Nyaa

In nicer terms of course. LOL

Just kidding man.

Order Up 3DS pics

I saw these last night and wanted to post them, but couldn't remember where they were. Super Villian Studios is starting to milk this game, but I can't blame them. The original Wii version was very well received but it got caught up in the glut of shovelware that the Wii was getting back in 2008. The PS3 version of Order-Up is about to come out, and it's also getting reviewed well with a couple sites calling it the best PS3 Move game of the holiday season.

Without knowing the terms of the deal you can't really say that. Doing it exclusively through one company can save in shipping costs and possibly promotion costs assuming that Gamestop will do extra advertising for it. Additionally Nintendo was probably able to do some simple market research to find out which outlets RPGs sell best in. It doesn't seem unreasonable to assume that a store that caters to a more hardcore market like Gamestop sells more RPGs (not the most casual friendly genre) than a general retail outlet like Walmart.  I'm sure whatever loss revenue that that would occur due to the distribution will be made up in other ways through this deal.

You're the mayor in Animal Crossing 3DS, you have a secretary and there is a large beach and a shopping mall across the railtracks. You can take your furniture to the store to be customised and you can change the exterior of your house, including outer walls, mailbox and fence posts. You can visit strangers houses picked up via streetpass and there is an estate agent. The entire village is much bigger.

I played some Halo Reach multiplayer (firefight) with a friend last night and it seemed pretty damn awesome. Its weird having classes in a Halo game but it seems to work. I dont mind playing multiplayer out of series order so if you guys want to play let me know but I suck.

Yes Iga, you need a time machine to simply say Xenoblade is the best game that came out in 2010.
