Yeah the Xbox versions of GTA 3 and Vice City looked much better than the PS2 games, especially GTA 3. San Andreas I remember being almost identical to the PS2 version...didn't they release at the same time? It was not much of a lead time at all anyway, if the PS2 had one.

I almost said something about this. I agree. Or anyone who doesn't like Prey must be a Native American hater. I'm tired of the whole racist thing anytime a game features black polygons for some of its main characters (GTA SA, RE5, etc.). Its a lame and tired subject.

I almost forgot about the Flood. I think at the time I was torn between hating them because the game went from having some of the smartest AI to some of the dumbest. And then loving it because it was a change and creepier too.

The Flood were dumb, but it fit their hive mind personality. And the way they would just blindly swarm you made up for their stupidity. That said, I didn't like the Flood in any of the other Halo games. Never again did I find them fun, or creepy, after Combat Evolved.

The Witcher 2 is just mind numbingly awesome. Seriously, if it keeps up on the pace it is right now, its going to surpass Mass Effect 2 as my favorite game of the generation.

Beautiful. Cinematic. Immersive. Brilliant.

I'm not going to get into a pointless exercise of trying to convince you to like a game you obviously don't. All I was saying is that it is a better game than you made it out to be.

And yes, I was serious about most people who hate the game are closet racists. Note I said most, not all. I  wasn't referencing your statement about the characters needing subtitles as being racist, I personally had no problem understanding them, but if there was a GTA set in Wales I probably would not be able to understand them, that's just exposure.  Bottom line, my comment wasn't directed at you, so don't take offense.

I'm talking about people who otherwise love the GTA series but then when it comes to San Andreas say things like, "There was something about it I just didn't like" (like playing as a black man perhaps?).

^I won't be able to today, I just spent 3+ hours playing Brutal Legend, my eyes need a break.   But I'm up for some UC2 sometime soon. I'd really like to get into a co-op game.

Very Loot Gamey...

Picked the character with the Staff that could change into a Fire Elemental.

Graphics aren't as high-definition, it seems, as even Baldur's Gate on the PS2 though! I find that kinda odd.

Controls are kind of floaty too.

I love loot games and will most likely pick it up anyway, but I think I have more hope for Lord of the Rings: War in the North by Snowblind Studios...
