Damn, Namco are really shafting Wii with Tales of Graces. They are releasing the PS3 port worldwide while leaving the original Wii version alone on the island of Japan. Reminds me of how they release Symphonia 1 like a year and a half late in Europe.

I just realised that we are finally, finally going to see this big Retro Studios project at E3, that has been rumoured for years. So it's like 28 days till E3 roughly? This is the hardest part, the wait.

I played some more Sin and Punishment last night. They should call it "Blow your Mind".

I played the underwater level, at first I didn't like that some enemies existed outside the air tunnel in the water. I got over it, fast. If you love schumps you will love this game. I am not a big fan of the genre but I can appreciate a well made game. Really inventive enemies here, the little jetski guys started rotating up the tubular walls, these laser trip mines had to be shot at in advance and a ruddy great eel kept worming its way in and out of the tunnel.

So anyway, WTF this game is nuts. There was this Wesker like guy in a black suit who flew in the air, sort of levitated without moving like standing flying. He's cheesy as fuck too with HOTD 2 level voice acting.

Anyway suddenly he turns into a squid and starts attacking me. I beat him and he goes back to the Man in Black look.

So then....   he turns into 5 black dolphins and proceeds to jump out the water and shoot me. Just.... bizaare blow your mind stuff. Not sure if its in a good way or not, but its constantly suprising at least.

A rather spectacular lunatic by the name of Eighteen has taken literally hundreds of screens from the prettiest Wii and Gamecube games around and converted them to 3D. His purpose? Putting them on a .rar file that you can download, extract the contents of, and stuff your lucky, lucky 3DS SD card to the gills with. The screens are easily viewable with the 3DS camera's photo viewer, and yikes are they a stunning taste of what's to come on Nintendo's sparkly little handheld. Nintendo's first 3DS firmware update has been detailed by a new report.

It includes the Nintendo eShop, although promised Internet browsing functions are nowhere to be seen.




The list of additions - published by Famitsu and translated by The Magic Box - include the initial batch of downloadable eShop content.




Nintendo had previously promised a web browser would be part of its May firmware update. Before that it had been intended for launch day.




DSi owners will however now be able to import DSiWare content onto their 3DS.




New 3DS Ware titles include Rockman Dash 3 Prologue for 200 yen (£1.50) and Petitcom for 800 yen (£6.04). Nintendo also mentions 3D versions of NES Legend of Zelda, Excitebike and Xevious for its 3D Classic range of rejigged retro games.




There's also untouched versions of full Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Gear titles, including Super Mario Land and Sonic & Tails 2.




Does the demo of a 3D Video Player mean 3D video recording could be added in? The 3DS' cameras currenly capture 3D pictures but only 2D video. Or is it just an app for viewing 3D movies and trailers? A 3D Game Trailer Channel suggests just the latter.

It's been on the way for a long time, and still has till next year.  I hope they go the route of Soul Calibur 1 and 2 and provide the deep back story and training missions again ala Mortal Kombat re-boot.

Soul Calibur  is the only fighting game I've gotten into deeply. (That makes me soft in the eyes of most gamers no?)
