Gameinformer has pretty bad Wii reviews in general they like 6.00 everything that's not first party.

The Wii is still going to be on the market for 6 years when all is said and done, a year longer than Gamecube. But it doesn't matter because Sony and Microsoft comitted to holding off on new machines, making it seem like Nintendo is launching early when really they're not. I think on the IGN podcast they said that when MS and Sony launch their new consoles they will leapfrog Wii 2 and then Wii 2 will again be cut out of the 3rd party games. Some others thought that Wii 2 would be able to have good looking versions of the modern games anyway though.

But its not going to be anywhere NEAR the difference there is now. Plus, as I said, they're going to be at least 2 years late...nearly halfway through the WiiHD's cycle. If it sells like the Wii sold for those 2 years, at that supposed level of tech I don't see 3rd-parties abandoning it in favor of what will visually look like slightly better machines. If this thing is "significantly" more powerful than PS3, there's no way PS4 would blow it away visually.

It's a strange situation where Nintendo held back on tech and now they can leap over...... but then be leaped over again. It's almost like they've found a cheats way to be ahead and a cheats way to be behind.

I kind of like it. Its stupid having all these machines come out at the exact same time.....this way we get a new machine next year, then more new machines a few years later, then possibly a new Nintendo again a few years after that. Keeps things going.

Looks like they found a way to make Mass Effect 3 even better looking than ME2. I didn't think it was possible. That game will be awesome.

I'm really digging Fallout: New Vegas at the moment.  It's still buggy and has frozen on me twice, but there's so much good stuff going on that I guess I can ignore that.  Next, I'm moving on to Undead Nightmare.

Thats how excited I am. It controls just like Genesis Sonics!!!!

Going through Getting Up again and picking up any missed secrets, legends etc. is surprisingly fun. Without the pressure it becomes a very different experience. Definitely deserved a better reception than it got. (In terms of hype/exposure, its scores were decent I suppose.)

Yup, and on PS2. Xbox is apparently the best version though they're all meant to be pretty similar.
