In all the details about the new Resident Evil game I overlooked the fact that it is being made by Canadian devloper Slant Six (known best for SOCOM).
Remember this was a rumor MONTHS ago, and I think was pretty quickly dismissed. I remember talking to Vader about it on a podcast.
Here's hoping they are as good as Blue Castle was at working with Japanese source material.

Awesome news that Chrono Trigger is hitting the VC in Japan. I sure hope Square-Enix releases it elsewhere very shortly after. Also for the love of god I'm really hoping that they put Chrono Cross on PSN. I already have the Mega Man X Collection on PS2 so I'll pass on the VC release. King of Monsters 2 was a very cool game but I'll try to hunt it down on some Neo Geo collection first.Sucker Punch is awful? I was going to go see it tomorrow.

I am actually intrigued by Ghost Recon now!
Why would SSFIV not work well on 3DS? It's got enough buttons for 3 kicks and 3 punches with a layout almost identical to PS3/360. It's not ideal but no modern (default) controller has 6 face buttons (sadly). It lacks an extra pair of shoulder buttons for combination shortcuts, but you can set 4 such shortcuts on the touchscreen. Unless you're some arcade purists with super sweet arcade sticks and the like I don't see it being any less good on 3DS than on any other system. Same gameplay, 60 frames per second, online modes, etc, it should all be there.

You don't hold the entire arcade cabinet in your hands, or your TV in front of your face while you play. You have grips on controllers, but you have to balance the 3DS in your hands as you make LOTS of quick movements, sans grips. Also, how do you keep the system still enough while performing SF movements to keep the system in it's "sweet spot?"
I guess we'll know more tomorrow.
