Well, blokes, what have you been up to?
This week I finally finished the story mode of Batman: Arkham Asylum. Truly an outstanding game. Poison Ivy's beutiful ass is almost worth the entry price alone. I still have a fuckton of stuff to do and find, but I'm taking a break from it right now and look for something different.
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - Director's Cut. Just started it. A couple puzzles in. This might be more than I can handle, but I'm confident my experiences with Darksiders and BGE have somewhat improved my puzzle solving skills. Loving the art and Nico's voice actress.
Played some SMG 2, and the Cave Story demo on WiiWare.
I played only about 25 minutes total in the last week; just enough to finish this masterpiece.

[02/27/11] CastleVania: Lords of Shadow -- So much more than a God of War clone, this game takes GoW3 and stomps it into the ground! It actually ties into the series a lot more than I ever thought it would, even after playing the first 20 hours of the game. I can't say how, as it would spoil a phenomenal ending, but it DOES fit into the whole mythos nicely and the Developers did a REALLY nice job wrapping it all up. Suffice to say, the Eclipse comes into play, the cataclysmic 1999 battle is referenced, there's a Slogra in there and the twist in the last few seconds of the ending, ENDING makes the ENTIRE experience worth while! Dramatic story-lines, a clever Snake reference, beautiful cut-scenes: Yeah, you could totally see Kojima's hand in there too! The actual developers are no slouch's either, as the painstakingly-detailed, incredibly diverse and totally organic environments are consistenty JAW-DROPPING throughout! The puzzles are ingenious, the battles against the 2 (or more?) Colossi are truly EPIC and the whole fighting/combat/magic system is very well done, too. Could have been one of my top games of 2010 had I actually played it in 2010! As it is, I anxiously await the incoming DLC packs! The reboot of the CastleVania series for modern day consoles is a good as this series deserves!

iam wondering if anyone else will be getting new pokemon next month?
i find it funny that gamefreak finally making a pokemon game that looks like its meant to be on the ds instead slightly enhanced gba and the ds is finished i have to wonder if the first few 3ds games will be ds looking games
I am at my next location, the middle of butt fuck nowhere. I was aboard a smaller plane and landed in a small landing strip, which had a building and a parking lot. It was in the middle of the woods. I got my rental car and had to drive over an hour through NC. It was a small two lane road and all you see is trees, farms, random houses, no civilization. I saw 3 road kill possums, a chainsaw store, a Confederate flag, a shack with a sign that says "famous hot dogs" I doubt that, and 2 guys riding their giant ass lawnmowers. It was the country and it was like an alien world to me. I wondered where do these people go to buy food? Where is the walgreens on all corners? Where is civilization? But I saw some people outside living their life, a totally different world than mine.
Eventually I reached an intersection which had gas stations, a walgreens and Mc Donalds. I wanted to hug a McDonalds employee, I was so happy to find it so thats where I ate. Where I am at the hotel is more civilized, it reminds me of some places in northern florida. The room is nice and it has an excellent internet connection so that is a plus.
I probably will.

Oh Star Wars is starting on TV! Which one? ... Episode 3, sweet.
...
I though you were actually talking about a road until the second post.
I so hope I am in a big city. Are there big cities in Alabama? Anyway I think if I say Roll Tide after every sentence I will be accepted.
Oscars tonight, who you got?
I think King's Speech is taking a ton of awards including best picture. Its been gaining a bunch of momentum in the oscar race. If not that then Social Network.
Portman is a lock. So is Bale. Firth is probably going to win. Inception will be shutout.
Ironically enough, I didn't see many movies last year. Inception and Deathly Hallows being the only two I remember at the moment.
Did you you ever buy CastleVania: Lords of Shadow yet?
Nope, I will one day.
Just a suggestion: That day should be sooner than later. I'll be waiting to hear your impressions when you finally do!
Hey... Did you bring a camera? I would love to see pictures of your journeys! It's not like most of us haven't seen what you look like already anyway...
