The Last Story Has 30 Hours Play Time

Normal play time on your first time through the game will be 30 hours, revealed Sakaguchi. This, of course, will vary depending on if players redo quests and revisit dungeons. Sakaguchi wanted to deliver a good tempo and a feeling of "denseness" about the story, so he feels that 30 hours is perfect.

The Last Story is being made so that players will continue to play after their first passing, via online and other elements. You won't have to wait until clearing the game to play online, though. You'll just need a save file. You can play Online after reaching the first save point.

Outside of online play, the game will have replay value from multiple play throughs of the story mode. You'll be able to replay the game with all your items in tact. They're balancing the game for second play throughs, complete with specific drop items. This balancing is pretty tough, said Sakaguchi.

There is a Wii dongle, not sure it works for DS via wii though. Best thing to do is change your ISP to a new one, you can get a free wireless router and you may even get a cut in your monthly bills too.

Speaking of Jungle Beat, I totally completed the first world. Got over 1000 bananas in all the levels and got 3 crests in each level. This opened up a secret level. This game is awesome, shame about the repetitive bosses though.

Wasn't EAD Tokyo formed from former Mario devs anyway? I think it's Koizuma or however you spell it, he's been involved in directing or working on every 3D Mario game since 64.

So I'm watching these Christmas videos from a feature about Christmas day gamers woe and they show people who bought a PS3 and inside the box was a phonebook instead of the console. And then someone who opens a Dreamcast box to be greeted with a SNES.

So what the hell is happening here? Game shop staff in the US just nick the consoles and replace them with heavy items in the boxs and sell them to kids at Christmas? What kind of BS is this?

Yeah I can do that. I personally dont want to do my own GOTY thread cause I haven't played crap from this year, I will wait a few months to actually play some PS3 games before making a list. But this site can do a 2010  GOTY thread, though I am pretty sure what game will win.
