The European PSN has some discounts too now, there's not much I want for PSP though. Ubisoft for example is just discounting Driver, gee, thanks lol. I was hoping SEGA's Phantasy Star Portable 2 would be 15 Euros since it was 15 bucks on the US PSN's offers but it's over 17 so, meh. They've also added a handful of weird colored "packs" of "simple, addictive, fun" or whatever games by Sony, I don't know what crap they are at all.

^Wait. You have a PSP? Ithought you were PC/Wii only? What's your top 3 PSP games?
I guess you missed all my pimpage of games like Valkyria Chronicles 2, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and most recently Ys Seven. I guess those would be my top titles but I have only really regreted the purchase of few, like Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (shit solo). I don't have many more.

^Ah that's right. I bought VC2 because of you.
Just finished Reach. Great game. Best Halo title to date.
Ha, Jungle Beat did it first. Where is your God now?!
Speaking of Jungle Beat, I totally completed the first world. Got over 1000 bananas in all the levels and got 3 crests in each level. This opened up a secret level. This game is awesome, shame about the repetitive bosses though.
I haven't finished VC2, I got a bit burnt out, but with over 60 hours spent on it I it's worthy of being near the top.

Not water, but it think it is honey or caramel or something. The whole level has a candy motive. And not space, but suspended in mid air, with candy and sweet all around.
But the thing is, both have suspended body of liquids. So did NSMBWii BTW.
^Can't wait to get to that. After I finish LKS that's the next one in line.
EDIT: Also, I can't wait to see what theat team does next. Unlike with other franchises I love, where I see them eventually grinding the games I love into the ground, I have complete faith in these guys because they have shown other-worldly abilities and understanding of what gaming is capable of.
Although I give that team a lot of credit, having Miyamoto's guiding hand goes a long way.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
Better than me. I put a few hours in, but the fucking story put me off.
^^ Same for me. I like VC2 but the high school manga/anime storyline wasn't compelling enough. And the character designs weren't that great.
But the third one looks really good. Darker in tone, grittier, and possibly a better story.
Hope it makes it over here.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
Highschool? It's a military academy and it confronts the same issues the first VC (which was anime itself) does like racism and the effects of war. It starts with a more cheerful spirit (er, his bro's death?) but it's not long before the cadets have to go into actual action with whatever consequences that may have for some of them.

High school - like storyline, that's prevelant in mangas/animes.
I like the game, don't get me wrong. But those character designs are terrible. I'd get into if I could stomach those awful designs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
I don't see what's wrong with most of the designs. That one Valkyria has an awful costume but other than that, there's pretty much every type of character present, some serious, some comical, some crazy, surely you can find at least a full squad that's decent enough for you? Eventually you have like 5x more squad members than you can bring with you. Besides, in battle they're all in their class combat suits, without their quirkier accessories or whatever else. The actual art style is certainly different and simpler to VC1 and 3's but I wouldn't call it rubbish either. But it's not like I actively watch anime so I'm not exactly tired of their potential cliches. And most of the characterization fluff is purely optional too, you don't have to watch all the events that pop up and a lot of it only pops up for characters you actively use in the first place as they develop their side stories and bonds.
