Yup. For IR.
Yeah if you are really into multiplayer I guess. I'm getting both though and if Goldeneye holds up, its single player will be quite a bit better than the 4 COD campaigns I've played.
I really enjoy them too, I don't even play the multiplayer so I'm all in for the single.
You can't say that they are faultless though, there are a lot of flaws and cheap BS in there as well as linearity.
i can't wait for Rune Factory Oceans, i love the series
From the gamespy Goldeneye review:
"In the single-player campaign, GoldenEye excels in its "creep 'n' pop" play style. Whenever you fire at an enemy with a silenced weapon such as Bond's standard-issue Walther P99, or whenever enemies notice you, the game plays a dramatic sound cue, followed by Bond's heartbeat. You have about two seconds to eliminate any enemy that you've alerted to your presence -- generally only one or two at a time -- or reinforcements will flood your location. At that point, you either have to do a run-and-gun massacre or quickly avoid them on the way to the next checkpoint. A few more action-heavy missions notwithstanding, it's clear that those firefights are meant to be the exceptions rather than the rule. But it's just plain exhilarating to silently crouch-walk around a room full of fools, leaving silent reminders of your visit in each of their heads."
They really got the stealth aspect right here.
Yeah, yeah. I'm just saying, cause Goldeneye takes such obvious inspiration from COD that you would probably enjoy it.
Started to play Majora's Mask for its 10th anniversary. Still the best game ever.
No game has NPCs and side quests this good.
God, I love Majora's Mask. It dares to be so much darker and different from it's predecessors. So much goodness in one cart.
Those Kinect impressions are crazy. I was waiting to pick it up anyway because of lack of funds, but I'm gonna wait on a really appealing game before I would consider getting.
Giant Bomb has a 24 hour live cam of Kinect. Jeff is showing how the menu voice commands only work for programs showing on the screen. So say you want to access Last FM and its on the third screen you have to go to the third screen then you can say to turn on that program. That is so dumb. Menu navigation seems so slow. You can't say "Xbox Messages" and get your messages.
To this day I don't think any game has had town that felt more "alive" than Clock Town.
I spent over 3 hours in the town alone. I didn't want to leave.
Kinectimals is on Giant Bomb right now.
So cute though.
Woah Kinectimals has a story and seems to have game progression, there is stuff to explore and find.
Watching the GiantBomb's Kinectimals feed.
This is the greatest feed of all time.
I could watch people play Kinect for hours. Maybe that is the point.
My kids would love this stuff.
Yup. Greatest kids toy of all time. Not in the wii is a toy insulting kind of way, in the seriously this is awesome for kids way.
Kinectimals should have been called "Throw shit at stuff while a cat watches"
This is so true. I haven't watched Ryan do shit with the cat. All he does is throw shit.
