What does this mean? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
PS3 ownership is catching up. And online play in Madden is free on PSN -- so if you have a choice...
Well, I still don't have it, so they have not reached saturation yet. I'm skipping it and getting Black Ops.
Wesker, is that you?
I interrupt this penii talk to bring you this special new bulletin:
We have entered the season where new games are being released practically every day, so every time I walk into a store, I'll probably be buying something new.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold: The Videogame

Next week... We'll see!
Yeah, the drought seems to be over from now on, and I still haven't decided what to pick up from the PREVIOUS game flood.
There wasn't really a drought this summer fro me with RDR, Alan Wake, galaxy 2, LIMBO.
That's kind of what I was trying to say, despite my poor wording. I'm still getting a lot of entertainment out of previously released games. I'll be just fine with cherry-picking the best titles whenever they go down in price.
It looks like just Nintendo games for me this fall, Epic Mickey and DKC.
Yeah. Ummm... I have 5 games pre-ordered through the end of the year at the moment.
I went to GameStop.Com to throw a couple of games on a wish list just so I can track their release dates... just in case...
...and there were about 38 more...
Well, I did say earlier I traded a bunch of old stuff so I can pre-pay for Halo Reach. I also got some PSN cards for the upcoming PSP games like God of War Ghost of Sparta and more Ys!
But I think that's about it for now. I may save enough for Black Ops and Goldeneye, but that'll be a stretch. Castlevania Lords of Shadow is a must though. But I may have to sell some blood to get it! (probably just sell more games).
I'm probably going to starve a bit to save up for some of these games. I really want Lords of Shadow and Goldeneye.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
Cool edition, I have it on Steam but it's coming to WiiWare also for those interested.
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.

Machinarium will be a great addition to WiiWare offerings. Let's hope it gets good sales.
Oi Abdul! Give us a fuckin' donner and don't be shy with the fockin't meat!
Just started Kane and Lynch. I was thinking it would be okay but it's fucking terrible. I thought invisible walls went away this gen? Hopeless AI. Poor controls. This sucks. I figured since Gerstmann hated it I'd love it.
Tried to play Halo 3. It only wants to let me go back to the campaign I have already beat (goes back to my last save). So I figured I'd replay the last level -- horrible. It turned me off even trying to figure out how to wipe my save so I could start over. Dark as hell, covenent weapon and I've driving out of some place on a warthog just like the last level (and worst part of Halo 1). And Cortana -- I don;t remember the voice acting being so bad.
Then tried Tropico 3. Looks like a great game for a PC, could not imagine going on with it on the couch.
So... back to SMG2. Damnnit, I wanted a completely differnt game on a HD system for Mario breaks.
^
I still have faith in Kane and Lynch 2!
Yes. Great game. Should have been out earlier though. I probably would have got it on that rather than steam. But the game could use more exposure for sure.
Farmville article - read it, it's hilarious.
Character Customization: In Mega Man Universe, you can create your own original Mega Man by assembling parts you like. Also, your abilities will change depending on the parts you choose. There are a wide variety of custom parts that allow you to create your original Mega Man!
Stage Creation: Mega Man Universe not only allows you to customize your original Mega Man, but you can also create your own unique stages! You can play your own custom stages or play stages created by others. Aside from Mega Man themed stages, there are a variety of custom stage parts that will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!
Game is ugly but it is a dream game.
Game Informer, in their regular news section has a parody peice -- that is not labeled in any way to indicate that it is not news (until you get to the end fo the article. Don't go there, not worth giving them the clicks, I'll copy it below, and yeah, it's kind of obvious bullshit, but with all the MGS tie-ins earlier in the year anything is possible.
Anyway, bullshit move Game Informer, don;t you get enough traffic as it is?
Harmonix Announces Metal Gear Game; Konami Now Totally Irrelevant
After stealing the music and dance game market from Konami, Harmonix is going in for the kill.
In a move that many industry insiders have suspected for some time, Harmonix today revealed Metal Gear Band Central. Though the game represents the first action game concept that Harmonix has pilfered from Konami, Harmonix has already successfully made Guitar Freaks and Karaoke Revolution better with Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and looks to be completely destroying any hopes Dance Dance Revolution ever had of a relaunch with the upcoming release of Dance Central.
"We've had such tremendous success taking Konami's ideas and making them a hundred times better," explains Harmonix co-founder Alex Rigopulos in a recent press release. "We just figured, why stop while we're ahead? It just seems like the next logical step in bridging the gap between Konami's games and the players who don't play them."
The new game's core gameplay mechanics remain unconfirmed, but Harmonix is confident that their take on Metal Gear will blow previous games in the franchise out of the water. "I don't know exactly how it's going to work, " admitted Rigopulos. "Maybe Snake will have a guitar. Maybe he'll just shoot stuff and wait through extra-long cinematic sequences. Whatever we do, you can be confident that it'll make all the previous games in the franchise pale in comparison."
Added Rigopulos, "Hey, do they still make those Yu-Gi-Oh games? We could totally do that."
Reached for comment, Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima seemed unfazed by Harmonix's announcement, or by Konami's decreasing relevance to a Western audience. "Have you seen our new trailer? Snake's in a cardboard box again!" (This piece is a parody. All quotes are fictitious)
