Mindless action games are all I play. Grinning I can't stand thinking when playing a game. I want to relax, and thinking just hurts my head. Sad

Which is why it's getting harder and harder everything I want to get into a JRPG or WRPG. I guess as I get older and having less time, I'm also getting more impatient.

But why do I still love RPGs!

I was deactivating an account from a friends PS3.

It's kind of hard to miss the pop-up.

Deactivating it? Why?

I don't notice any differences between them. They feel about the same to me. In fact, I think the Wii version is easier because of the aiming with the Wii-Mote. It's so much more precise and you can hit the knee or targets easier.

The only thing that sucks is sniping.

Same here, it felt easier but it might be adjusted like the PS2 version which gave out less ammo and was a bit harder. The Wiimote makes it much easier so those that use it wouldn't notice it.

Blah blah, Wii Remote is king, biddy blah! Hrm GC controller, FTW! Nyaa

Yeah, there seems to be noticeably less ammo than the GC version, and more enemies in areas.

Oh really, I wasn't aware of that. I'm not sure I really understand though. Does this mean if something where to happen to my current PS3 and I simply just buy another one to replace it and hook it up to my current account then that would count as a second activation for me and I would have 3 left? Why would they limit that?

I thought the same thing when I was playing through it, and mentioned it on the podcast.  Still can't be entirely sure.

Yes exactly. The limit it cause that is how you game share. If you could have infinite accounts then you can share your account with anyone and they can download all the games you own.

Just finished Metroid 2, great game, I am shocked  it was so good. Its not as good as anything after Super Metroid but it is a better game than Metroid 1 and considering when it came out i is great for its time. I have now finished every single Metroid game. Happy

Man up. It's much harder on the PC!

*Keyboard only. Mouse aiming is for pussies.

*No icons to tell you specific keys to press, only numbers "1-6", because only real men know which keys are the "5+6" buttons to dodge that boulder.

*No textures, because completely removing the atmosphere of the game is a sign of a true gamer.

*Cutscenes might not even show up, because only the hardest of hardcore know just what the hell's going on.

I liked reading this post until the end. Please tell me you are not using a GC controller.

What difference does it make what controller I'm using? I prefer the GC controller for this game. I play a lot better with it than I do the Wii Remote, and I also don't have to look at that ugly, over-sized target reticule.

While I think the game controls awesome with the Wii controller, you're totally right about the target reticule; its ugly and huge.
Doesn't fit in with the game at all, and looks totally out of place. In such a high production valued game, the reticule they used looks like it belongs in some $15 bargain bin light-gun game.
