Give it time. And don't forget Bloodrayne also got a Playboy spread (pardon the pun).
EDIT: TWO MOVIES!?! I hope at least one of them was a porno.
LOL! No, it was a direct-to-video sequel, or prequel which had another actress playing BloodRayne.
Don't remember if it was from Uwe Boll. But it didn't matter because both films were terrible! It gets played on SyFy once in awhile.

Cruel, and beneath me, but I thought you guys would like it.
It's when you're silent, that's when I worry.
Yes there is.
And yet it will still be twice the amount I paid for it.
I haven't played anything in weeks either. You guys should start placing bets on when I will start again.
Redemption sounds cool, I will get it eventually. Personally I never really liked western settings.
Updating now.
Activision...characters...yep couldn't really care less in any context.
So there is this topic on GAF asking if 3rd parties are essentially done with the Wii.
Thoughts?
I think they are, I fully expect 2011 to be the last year for the wii (coinciding with the traditional 5 year life cycle) and that a new console will be announced or launched at the end of 2011, in at least one territory.
There is some decent-ish 3rd party content on the way like Sonic Colours, Conduit 2, Epic Mickey, Goldeneye, COD Black Ops, NBA Jam, DQ10, Ghost Recon, Driver etc.
But in terms of exclusives using the benefits of the system I don't see much happening. Nintendo are the ones who are coming up with the goods. I have a feeling that Retro's other projects will be for the Wii Too.
Done with what? Not supporting it? Cos if they mean done with support, when did they begin with it? The situation's been the same since day 1, no AAA production to speak of and just the occasional low budget effort from smaller studios. That's how it was, and will be. MH3 and DQX being the only exceptions.
As for the sales of Basara 3 that sparked this discussion, I don't think it's indicative of anything without details that we'll never know. What if they only shipped that many copies of the Wii version? What of marketing? Obviously I'm not in Japan so I can't know about commercials, but as far as trailers go, the Wii version was treated like top secret material, Modern Warfare style. Only one video with the Wii version was released about a month ago, and only showing story scenes at that. I had to wait for user videos to pop up on YouTube to realise it's a surprisingly solid port (though it still is gimped in ways it shouldn't be, like the lack of an online mode). So yeah, whatever, Gaf just likes ignoring the fact they don't have anything close to the whole picture in favor of jumping to conclusions.
Here's some good quality Wii footage. I'll probably play this when it hits Europe actually. The fighting is more stylish and the levels more varied than in Samurai Warriors 3 (btw that sold 121k first week on Wii, so, marketing?).

Yeah, pretty much. It's always been token support.
I guess they mean in terms of support beyond say 3rd quarter of 2011.
Ubisoft have started trying to get as many multiformat games on Wii as possible, Prince of Persia, Ghost Recon, Driver etc. Capcom has finally made the MT framework wii compatible which means they might try and do some cheap ports to the system.
The marketing for these titles really pisses me off. It's been ages and there still aren't any screens, videos or previews of COD Black Ops. They pretend like the wii versions of games don't exist, which pegs them as leftovers to gamers and as second thoughts (which they probably are from a development standpoint). No wonder games that are hidden like this sell less.
Has anyone else noticed that Nintendo has done 2D Mario, 2D Metroid and now 2D Donkey Kong?
It would be like Capcom doing home console - 2D Ghouls and Ghosts, 2D Strider, 2D Final Fight, all as proper retail releases.
Do you think that other companies should follow their lead and do a 2D revival of their past classics? What games would you like to see re-made in this style?
I'd go for a 2D Castle of Illusion.
BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Batman: Arkham City™ as the title for its follow-up to the award-winning, critically acclaimed hit videogame Batman: Arkham Asylum™. Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.
Batman: Arkham City is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license. Fans can visit www.batmanarkhamcity.com to sign up to receive updates regarding the game.
Some choice stuff (the website has basically everything from previous scans in direct feed).
Okay, there are some low-res stuff after all, Xenoblade style - they don't look so low-res when the camera isn't super-close to stuff though (why I chose most of these screens) - but as a whole it's more impressive, and works well. It's gonna be better in motion, the lighting seems great, and the jaggies are less noticable like that of course. Overall, I'm excited. I do hope the localisation doesn't take to the bitter end of the year 2011 or something though.
