Donkey Kong is awesome
Retro is awesome
Retro were the first developer that nailed first person platforming
So why not?
Retro are great level designers, I mean their levels are onpar with Zelda dungeons IMO. And they are great at tech too. So potentially, if it were a DK64 style platformer, it could be pretty f-ing awesome. I'm just used to Retro being the first person guys, the westerners that would bring cooler IP like Metroid too us. So I was expecting them to kick out a FPS or FPA again.
Zelda Wii's official title is "The Legend of Zelda". There will be no subtitle. The game tells a story several hundred years before Ocarina of Time.It also answers the question of how the Mastersword came into being. The fairy-like girl plays is a very important character in the game. Her Name is Zordiana. The Hookshot is also in the game and it has new abilities. It will not pull you immediately to the target you aimed. Now it is possible to swing with the Hookshot, like with the Grappling Hook from WW. The Hookshot makes no use of Wii Motion Plus. Sometimes you have to "draw" a specific symbol on a door with your sword, to open it. The Bow-Control is very similar to the Bow-Control in Wii Sports Resort, as the script shows. There are two levels of difficulty. Aonuma put it through. Miyamoto didn't want to include it.The Normal-Mode for amateurs. The Hero-Mode has no "Super Guide" included and the enemies tougher. The On-Stage Dungeon, which is also playable at E3, isn't a Dungeon as we know it from the Zelda series. When entering a Dungeon, you will not notice you are in one. It will be a smooth gradation. There will be Dungeons with no Bosses and Bosses with no Dungeon. The "Dungeon" you are able to play at E3 will be an Ice-Level. It will be the frist "Dungeon" in the Game.
Well now a new Donkey Kong game would be great to see.
With bongo support!
Oooooo. That Zelda info sounds pretty cool. Can't wait to see this game.
Finally, Nintendo figures out that we need multiple difficulty settings in Zelda?
The greatest Mario game ever made!!
Well that is a load of bullshit.
Edit: oh, I see who now. So Aonuma's speech will be in German? At E3? In the US? Huh? And uh, how are they protecting their source like they say they wish to do when they say that's what he does? Aonuma has a battallion of German language instructors so he can never figure out who leaked the information without torturing all of them?
Edit 2: site is nice and fast for once, keep it like this please.

http://www.vg247.com/2010/06/13/rumour-6-million-e3-acti-party-to-feature-gaga-strippers-janes-addiction/
If the current round of LA chatter turns out to be true, tomorrow’s Activision “preview” event at the Staples Center is going to be both unmissable and ridiculous.
VG247 has been told that the party, which has cost $6 million, will “definitely” feature both Usher and Jane’s Addiction, as well as a mystery headline act – both Lady Gaga and Beyonce have been mentioned in the past 24 hours.
Not all. The event is actually taking place in the Staples Center. Not in an outside part of it. It’s in the actual auditorium. Why? Well, it’d be tough to have the LA Philharmonic Orchestra squashed into one of the outdoor bars. And how could you lower down a skate ramp while Tony Hawk is skating on it into anything but the home of the LA Lakers?
Think that’s mental? Apparently Activision has recruited the world’s “best strippers” for the party, and will have the ladies doing their thing at every corner of the crowd.
If you’re now thinking it might be a good time to try for a ticket, tough lines. The event is strictly invite-only, and all requests are non-transferable.
Are we going? Of course we are. It starts at 9.00pm PST tomorrow night.
This is clearly all the money they were supposed to pay IW. I love one comment on gaf which said all the party needed was some coke.
