So... not going to talk? I understand. I've been neglecting you lately...
Well, while no one else is around, I thought I would take this time to let you know how I feel...
Me:
in manager mode. I've just completed my 5th year, won yet again another championship, and there's no team in the world who can make me break a sweat. I've signed players for chump change only to have them develop till they're worth over 40 million euros, and am at 100% in job security, fan appreciation and prestige.
Are there any improvements in manager mode in FIFA 10? I'm pretty much hooked to it right now.

The me of 20 years ago would be very, very ashamed of that!
I've always been a die-hard Nintendo fan. I love bright, colorful, cheery games...
...but I find myself wanting to hack up Monsters for resources and throwing spinning uppercuts more than anything else lately.
I know tastes change as we get older, but I don't want to be the kind of gamer that can't appreciate a new Mario game!
I am trying to play NSMB Wii, trying to re-capture the wonder I felt when I played Mario 3, for example...
There are flashes of nostalgia and fond memories, but they fade waaay too fast these days!
(Ahhh... to be able to feel the excitement that pic first evoked again...)

I'm not ashamed, though. I've said before I wouldn't bat an eyelash if Mario games were to disappear forever, and it's the truth. They're not what gaming is to me anymore, and I'm perfectly cool with that.
For the first time all year I will actually put significant time into my Wii... I just realized what that sounded like. My PS3 will go unused for a few weeks. I got plenty of games to play on it but only one matters, one week to go!!!
Hmm, that's how I feel about the Resident Evil games. After RE4, I had my fill of the series, and the entire survival horror genre altogether really. Unless, of course, they make Luigi's Mansion 2.

No, I also played and finished RE 1, 2, 3, Code: Veronica, and 4, so I got sick of survival horror after playing them for nearly a decade.
