But yeah, the ultimate Egyptian themed game of the era was not Tomb Raider, it was Exhumed/Powerslave! Metroid Prime meets Doom bitches, complete with acquiring new skills (higher jumping etc) to open new paths!

I got back to Lost Odyssey last night, BTW. One of the high points in history of old-school, turn-based JRPGs, with all good and bad things that come with that.
Had to switch back to japanese voices, though. English VA is horrendous.
Why? That $15 map pack is so ridiculous, I think that's the final straw for me. I don't know if I can enjoy a game while knowing that I'm feeding into Kotick's greed.
I'm glad I still have Battlefield Bad Company 2.
I think I'll do that and pick up Resonance of Fate and use the gift card I got from TRU and pick up Infinite Space. Sounds fair.

Those Sprint ads on game sites are pissing me off! It's on GS, 1up, and IGN!
I guess it's my internet connection or something but these Sprint ads are destroying my connection making my speed sluggishly slow and even locking it. I have to close the window and open up another one just to browse!

$15 is a lot steep. It takes two for exploitation to work.
I wonder if they will include that in the inevitable GOTY version -- given how much they are charging.
I had forgotten all about it. Which is saying something given that I have two game.com and two Atari Lynx consoles.
OMG the memories. Back in the day, the only reliable source of gaming info my buddies and I had were old-ass gaming mags that one of them used to buy whenever he traveled to the states.
I remember watching ads for the Lynx and marveling at the colors showed. On a portable!
