Shattered Memories
Rocks
Is this the greatest downloadable costume ever? It's like a white Biggles outfit. From Elvis to Biggles. BTW that's a bloke
Um while I love cat pics the Shuttlecat one kind of lost me in what it means in response to my post. Also what's the Shattered Memories Rocks one about? Very bewildering indeed.
Ah ok. I guess that makes sense then. I wasn't even aware of a game called Shattered Memories so I guess that's why it went over my head. The fuck?
Hmm, I don't find this funny.

Zelda didn't have camera control at all though. In theory, third person games can control exactly the same as first person games. You know, like Silent Hill: Shattered Memories which is praised for its fluid controls (for the most part, when it comes to moving your character at least). The mechanics are the same as first person and actually easier since you have a larger field of view of your surroundings with the camera further back, so you need less turning than in an FPS. All third person games could take that control scheme, even if they don't have a flashlight like SH, so long as there's a cursor on screen, either to shoot stuff, or to interract with stuff.
Still, you were talking about having a jerky cursor, Zelda for the most part doesn't use the cursor to move the camera or turn your character etc. It's true that the cursor in Zelda is laggy, but it was just a port, it's not laggy in any other Nintendo game that I've played. We don't judge a controller's potential by games that did it wrong.
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.

Not newsworthy enough for the big board, but interesting all the same:
Nintendo Now Top Buyer of MEMS, Passing Samsung
