Pachter talks Natal, Dsi XL and 3rd Party Wii
I continue to believe that the Wii audience will buy good games, and think that third parties have done a poor job of making them for the Wii.

YOU SUCK!
Are you confusing Hamster with me again? Silly Steel!
Holy crap my bank account actually has money! I can actually buy stuff.
Well time to do some updates.
What are you going to buy, Iggly?
I bought myself a new Gi. This is my second one ever. I been training since 13 and have been using the same Gi for al that time.
Wow, nice. Are those expensive?
The demo only allows you to choose between Sonic and Robotnik. I checked each of their stats and strangely enough Sonic's speed is only halfway to max, meanwhile Robotnik is at max. Uhhh, why does Sonic not have the fastest car (why the fuck is Sonic in a car!!!). I guess Sega is making Sonic the Mario where it is well balanced while Robotnik is Boswer so he has high max speed but poor control.
It plays like a Mario Kart, it is very drift heavy and if you do a long drift you get a boost when you come out of it, feels a bit like Mario Kart DS. Of course there are items to get like giant bombs, rockets that lock on, rainbows that disorient your opponents and speed shoes that make you go fast. The only track you can get in the demo is a Billy Hatcher one, why the hell are there Billy Hatcher levels. I looked through the level list and they only come from a few games, Sonic, Billy, Monkey Ball, Jet Grind, HotD and Samba de Amigo. All the Sonic levels are from Heroes and Adventure 2. Terrible level list.
The track itself was simple, it had one side path you can take. There is an announcer for the race, half the time he is just insulting the racers saying how boring this race is and crap. Each character has an all star attack, this is an item that shows up when you are in last place. It makes the character invincible, it makes him him super fast, it goes on auto pilot and usually stuns everyone in front of you. For Sonic you become Super Sonic and fly through the track. Robotnik's ship gets rocket boosters and he shoots out an endless stream of rockets that hits everyone in front of him. Basically you go from last place to either first or very close. I purposely stopped to become last place just to get this item and after I used it I was first.
Whatever its a kart game, I deleted it right after.
Almost did the same thing to your post.
Where?!
Yay!
http://www.ps3center.net/news/4360/pachter-predicts-natal-will-outsell-arc-51-at-launch/
I think that the Sony motion controller will have some problems gaining traction, since it is not an “in the box” solution. That will probably limit adoption to one or two million at the outset. Natal is different... It’s only one piece (the camera), is likely to be cheaper, and I think it will come in the Xbox 360 package with new consoles once launched, meaning far deeper penetration.
...
Sony’s internal development is top notch, so I expect the launch titles to be fun, and likely on par with Wii Sports for quality, but ultimately, I think that the motion controller will only sell to 20% or less of the PS3 audience, limiting it’s appeal to third party publishers. A year or so after launch, there will be 10 million [Project Natal units] out there, which will probably attract more third party support. Also, I think Microsoft will subsidize third party development to make it a success.
Well he will probably be right on this one because no shit will the product that is packed with consoles sell more. This is like saying Wii Sports will outsell Zelda during the Wii launch, no shit it will.
