As long time viewers will know I don't just review any old game, but I have no hesitation in saying that this is the best first person shooter ever made.

It might even be the best game of any kind - even beating Crazy Frog Racing.

Like most people I've always wanted to be a U.S. Army Seal and this game puts you into the shoes of actual real soldier Dick Marcinko, who I'm sure everyone has heard of.

The game is set over fifty years ago in the 1980s, at the height of the Cold War, and has Dick blowing up all kinds of stuff in Russia and North Korea.

Dick has a very healthy interest in politics and hates communists.

As everyone knows swearing and making inferences about someone's sexuality is the very height of comedy, which makes Dick the funniest game character ever.

He's voiced by Mickey Rourke and not a minute goes by without him cursing or speculating on the sexual activities of the guards he's killing.

It's so hilarious it's almost like playing with a bunch of teenage boys on Xbox Live, except with a famous actor.

The gameplay is just as innovative as the dialogue with a never-before-seen tour of enemy warehouses, darkened corridors and factories.

You never have to worry about having to explore or experiment with your tactics though, as the game cleverly forces you along a linear path through each level.

I hate having to think or aim properly in a first person shooter and this takes all that annoying bother away.

Instead of giving bad guys artificial intelligence you can easily sneak up on anyone and use a stealth kill whether they should be able to see you or not.

These animations are the best bit and it's great that they're so easy, as you get to see them again and again.

On top of that the game has a cover system that lets you hide behind things before you shoot - a feature I have never seen before in any other game.

As this is a full price game you get a single player campaign that lasts a full two hours. Just £20 an hour for such a ground-breaking game is amazing value, but incredibly there's more.

A massive total of eight people can compete in both deathmatch and team deathmatch - that's right two whole multiplayer modes for no extra cost!

I'm shocked at the quality and can't believe it's being sold at full price.

IN SHORT: One of the best games ever made, with hilarious non-stop swearing and two full hours of gameplay.

PROS: Hugely original experience, with the funniest dialogue ever and impressively innovative multiplayer.

CONS: Absolutely nothing. Except that there's no Prestige Edition with a signed photo of Dick and Mickey.

SCORE: 11/10
