I've been mostly just playing A LOT of Gears of War 2 online multiplayer this weekend especially since they had the double experience event going on. I'm at level 43 right now, it's going to take a lot of play time to reach 100. I'm very much looking forward to the 'All Fronts' dlc coming out in about 2 months time.
I have also been keeping up with the 1 vs. 100 beta and playing it every night it's available. This thing is a terrific idea and is incredibly fun. I can't wait until it's out and you can start winning real prizes.
Awesome news about Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I'll certainly be getting this game. It may not have the same impact as Marvel since I'm a huge Marvel fan but it's still got the crazy awesome 2D Capcom fighting goodness in it which is a game seller for me.
Speaking of Marvel I went and saw Wolverine this weekend. While it had some odd and wonky bits to it it was still a very good movie well worth watching. Now I'm really pumped to play the game. I may just have to pick it up soon.

I finally saw Iron Man. What trollop. These superhero movies, why is the baddy always a bigger badder version of the main character? Hulk too. Ass.
He doesn't even get into the iconic suit till well over an hour into the film.

Well not that I put too much faith in GME's taste, he didn't like Lost Planet after allAwesome that Microsoft is nailing these achievement cheaters to the wall like this, I'm all for them getting this treatment. I have nothing to fear since all of mine are legit.

Film didn't hit the balance on comedy right. The main character went from ass to false redemption too easily and quickly in film terms. Didn't work on any level for me. Has anyone else read the Infinity Gauntlet?
A likely story
I'm with you on this one. To me it's just time and energy they spent trying to be cute when they could have added another legitimate boxer to the game.
It sounds like a cool idea to me. I agree that some characters simply don't belong in Punch-out, but Donkey Kong is a huge effing ape, and fighting him would be fun. Also, Peach should be the bikini-clad round card girl.
BTW, is Mario still the referee?

They provide a source which takes you to some random Nintendo game site that says the same thing, posted on May 18th. They state:
Original voice actors were considered but team couldn’t get voice actors for Leon, Claire, or Ada
They have another source, follow that link and it takes you to a GS article about REDC from April that states:
One nice bit for fans is that the team actively sought out the original voice actors to voice the characters and was able to get the voice actors for Leon, Claire, and Ada.
So congrats on posting an old story with incorrect info. Check your sources before posting.
