You didn't like Zelda 2 at all, really? I like it for the type of game it was, it was a cool side scrolling action/adventure game. You look at a game like Castlevania 2 that kind of did the same thing, that was crap, Zelda 2 was done well. It was insanely hard though.
Phantom Hourglass was awesome and was in no way the worst Zelda game ever made (that was Zelda II followed by the Windwaker). There being no overworld makes it a much more portable focused experience which is Phantom Hourglass's main strong point (well to me anyway).
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Well I guess that makes sense, I play my DS at home so i play it like a normal console game. Still I perfer the Oracle games, Link's Awakening and even Minish Cap.
Yeah, did not like the overworld map and the dungeons were kinda samey. People gave you crappy hints, I had to call Nintendo hotline, because I was stuck. It has its moments, but overall it left a sour taste in my mount. (Steel is probably going to make a lame joke about my last sentence)
Blow it out your ass! PH was fucking genius. The mapping system was without a doubt the best and most natural feature that series has had in a decade.
Oh yes I love having to draw my way around an overworld, so much better than actual exploration.
You are like an enigma, wrapped in a box.
And Vader, PH rules as a portable zelda. Stylus controls are better than d-pad controls for the game too.
Black is the new black. Er... gold. Normal stories are grey.
32gb SD cards supported for Wii?! Holy crapola. Well done.
I have been toying around with the new features, lovely. You can literally dump everything from your wii dashboard onto SD cards, which I did ages ago to fit on huge games like world of goo. Now from the SD menu, WOG launches in like 10 seconds seamlessly from SD.
And I didn't even have to pay for some external hard drive. Truly an awesome update.
Would you have prefered "Zelda: Jesus" where Link would have to walk on water instead?
Anyway I'm really happy with the SD Card upgrade. I far prefer this then having multiple SKU's with different hard-drives. I can also bring my SD Card to friend's houses.
Though why so long Nintendo?
Oh yeah did you see "Virtual Console Arcade"? There are Arcade games on the Virtual Console now.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Edit: At weird Miyamoto.
Over the shoulder
But yeah Nintendo REALLY outdid themselves during this conference.
- New Zelda
- A Storage Solution
- Virtual Console Arcade
And apparently there is a big new game announcement later today (and apparently wasn't Zelda: Spirit Tracks).
What's sad is that this surpasses their last E3...which is really sad.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
No you are lame.
Stalker!
So I take it you didn't like the original either.
I'm still trying to figure out why would you have a mount. And why on earth would you lick it.
I checked Amazon, 8 gb cards really cheap. 16 gb or higher getting into game prices.
I have 2 gb already and I dont really need more. Which is cool. Now I hope they do some demos and stuff.
Not played it enough to form a judgement, but your idea would not work. Think abbout it, randomly burning bushed, especially in 3D would be very tedious. The game has to have a direction. I need to know where to go. I want to know where to go exactly. Of course the game should allow for the player to take different directions if he so choose.
A good example of this is Zero Missions, the Chozo statues tell you exactly where you have to go. But that does not mean you have to follow them, you can take tons of alternative routes and even take down the bosses in a different order. That is how Zelda should be!
I love licking Epona
Is that dutch slang for wang?
