WTF is wrong with IGN.
PES2009 fixes all the flaws of the original and plus it has more modes, yet it scores lower!
And Kororinpa 2 has the same controls like the original, but now the controls suck?! How the hell is that possible.
And who are these two reviewers? Where is Bozon, Craig and Matt?

Weird boxart, almost trying to present it to people who never played the first.
I was thinking of buying Madworld quickly to support Platinum and buy 2007 and 2008 games later. Now will buy de Blob as I have planned before. Probably will buy MadWorld later when it is cheaper.
The guys at Platinum are already used to making good games and no one buying them so don't worry about supporting them right now. THQ needs it too after all.

Well, for starters, the team at EA overhauled the game's graphics engine, allowing for more detailed levels and particle explosions without sacrificing the fluidity of the framerate. The developer demonstrated a wide selection of stages to us from its Southern California offices and we noticed a couple visual changes and improvements. First off, the backgrounds in place -- formerly stylized cutouts, you might remember -- are now fully 3D complete with polygonal structures and characters. For example, in some of the new water-based environments, you will spot sharks floating by in the background, and they're interactive. And second, based on the locales shown to us, the framerate holds up -- we didn't spot any discernible slowdown. Of course, we've yet to see some of the more complex puzzle formations, which may yet run slower.
Bash Party's online mechanic is seamlessly integrated into the experience. There are no friend codes to speak of. Rather, the title connects so quickly to EA's servers that the process is practically invisible to the end user. Rahimi demonstrated this truth to us by flipping through some of the stage selection screens, all of which now feature a clickable block to download new, user-created levels. He clicked on the block, connected and downloaded all user-created levels within two or three seconds. Because the created levels are just coordinate data, there's no assets to be downloaded and everything is therefore downloaded in the blink of an eye. EA has big plans in store the online mode. Users will be able to trade levels directly with friends, but also receive periodic blasts from the publisher, all without ever leaving the main menus.
Boom Blox Bash Party is still a few months away from release, but even in its unfinished state the game is awesome.
