^^^King Arthur is terrible. Anyway it seems that Wario has tons of production values in terms of visuals and presentation but it just lacks the valus of gameplay it seems. I mean yes it is "Great" and "Impressie" but let's face it the platforming genre is pretty simple thus it needs to be "Amazing" or "Fantastic" to really stand out amongst other games.

Still, I think you've got retro gamers or older gamers that want these types of games. This month though there are a ton of other games to get. I've got my eye on De Blob and Sam and Max. So what programs did you watch growing up Punk, I know you're a little younger than me.

I'm 18 about to turn 19 in 2 or 3 weeks. I grew up watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, Poke'mon, Digimon, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, and Nickelodeon during its Goldenage (Angry Beavers, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Catdog, Rocket Power, Rocko's Modern Life, and most of all the legendary Spongebob Squarepants). I've always been more keen to the animated. Even today when counting out movies I watch mostly animated series. Ironically I am now in a hotel (the dorms are full...don't worry the school pays for it) and since the TV can't go on input all I have is cable. Basically I'm watching the current cartoon channels. All I can say is that Courage the Cowardly Dog isn't as good as I remembered it (it has great atmosphere but just isn't all that entertaining), Spongebob and Scooby Doo are just as good as they were when I was a kid, and I HATE how nearly all cartoons use Flash now.
Anyway I have no doubt that Wario will achieve more or less half a million copies sold. But I just doubt that it will become a "hit" if you know what I mean.
EDIT - Also what the fuck is up with this CGI shit going on with Hollywood? I mean nearly every family movie from the past 5 years has been CGI.

They expect to sell 2.3 million copies, what, they will sell that in like two minutes. They do understand this is the sequel to the best game of last gen, a huge 4+ million selling title, one of the most well known franchises and one of the most hyped games of this gen.
^^^Yeah but remember that the 4 million copies came from being on 4 different platforms as well as a platform that had a WAY bigger userbase then the PS3 and 360 combined.

I watched a lot of those. That makes me remember, along with all the retro videos I've been watching lately, how in the 90s you went from the 80s sort of superhero semi-serious animation to the Nickelodean age of sort of zany, clean style of animation. I think I preffered the 80s ones.
I do hate how holywood movies are all CGI these days. That's part of what makes watching studio ghibli films such a pleasure. But Disney used to do great stuff too, like Mulan and Beauty and the Beast. They lost their mojo which killed western animated movies.

Lost planet sold around 2.3 million. Given the 4 years in development and 400 staff members on RE5 they should be aiming for more surely. Their Wii RE4 port sold 1.5-2 million already.

NPD, every stinking month for over a year Wii is winning, usually outselling the competition combined. 3rd parties are **** stupid. (evil taru smiley)
Disaster looks like it has a lot of waggling and QTEs. Ugh. Driving and shooting looks fun though.
RE5 isn't going to be anywhere near as good as RE4, so naturally they are adjusting sales accordingly.
