Hotel Dusk is getting better, I didn't know you could actually get a game over (proof that its a video game GG... ).  Still tons of hand holding and not much to actually do but the story is really good and addictive.

Glad you like it. I hope you berated the annoying kid at the beggining. The story is mucho coolo by the end. And if you replay it you get a special ending that is actually worth it. A sequel to this game would be so badass as there is actually room and a logical extenstion of the story there.

No way I am replaying it, its a rental, so I would have to catch the ending on youtube I guess.  I am hooked, the characters are fantastic.  Never seen so much crap go down in one small hotel before.  Now if there was only a better game in there, seems like such lost potential.

It is addictive. The controls initially seem asstastic but once you orientate yourself they work fine. I love that moment when you go out on the roof to see that lady and you see the neon sign and that music. I love this game, like I said before when you sort of go in, to interrogate each character it's almost like your in some sort of therapy session. By the end it leaves you thinking about it in your sleep.

I don't know if you can call Phoenix Wright a ressurection. Well maybe, but they just ported the gba trilogy to the west. I just wish that the lucasarts guys would either reform or just start flogging thier old wares in cheap complilation packs on Wii. Same for broken sword etc.

Trace memory was a 5 hr game right? Same devs as Hotel Dusk. I always wanted it but it's too short and I dont rent games.

And yes, the resurrection in adventure games makes me happy. Point and clicking to experience witty dialogue has never been as good since the Lucasarts days though.

Though I'd kill to see the one Star Wars game that should have been made back when Lucasarts were awesome. THE STAR WARS POINT AND CLICK ADVENTURE GAME.
