What the fuck?! That looks awesome....like another drug-induced game like Psychonauts and Banjo. Why have I not seen this yet? Is this Wii only? You can't beat playing as a mushroom with a brain.
I have read it, but from the description it sound more like a sandbox style game than a platformer. There is nothing wrong with that, but it seems, if a game has cute characters, it is automatically called a platformer.
SWEET!!!! Sigh....if only the Wii had more shooters of such greatness. As I said, if every developer would do at least one game like this, it would be great and it wouldn't be any risk to any of them.

Iga says they didn't want to do a real Castlevania on Wii because "it would get tiring" with the Wii controller. What a japanese cowboy jackass thing to say.
I thought that was a pretty dumb excuse. There are a lot of games that require you to waggle a bunch, and I've never gotten tired from it. I played through Soul Calibur Legends on a rental once, and I had no problems with the consistant waggling. Then again, I do have an unusually strong right arm.
And doing a whip 1 to 1 is easier to do than a sword. Because with swords you will get a problem when 2 of them collide while there is nothing to stop your arm from moving. A whip has no such problem, because if hit something the whip will go around a object and you will hardly feel any feedback at your handle and you can't realy block with a whip. You could closely simulate 1:1 with a whip, more closely than a sword.
I hadn't thought about that before, but you're right. A whip would be easier to do.

I agree. Sonic should never use weapons of any kind. Unfortunately, I fear this rumor is true.
A new Shinobi for Wii would be awesome, though.

That Gears of War 2 Collector's Edition looks pretty sweet. Carrying around a golden Lancer would be kind of cool. I want hear what else is coming with this package. More then likely I'll be getting it because the game blew me away at the E3 showing so I want as many Gears 2 goodies as I can get.
Too bad Bungie was made to cancel their big surprise at E3 but I can understand why it was cancelled. Knowing now what the game they were going to show it makes to not have shown although you would have figured that people would have realised this before the whole countdown thing got underway. Still it sounds like it should be very awesome and I can't wait to see it when it can be put in it's own spotlight.
Sorry, I had to set up for a party, ala making trips to pick up kegs and setting up a stereo system.
