I've always been more of an indie man, myself.
This is what it's become. The more everyone fails to see this, the more angry and dissatisfied gamers we'll grow to be.
As big budget and hollywood-like MGS4 was... Hideo is more like an indie developer than the rest of the industry. His views are unique. He's more interested in telling a good story than the rest. He's more of the artist versus the crap-churners that make games like Carnival Games, etc...
And its over. Nintendo can rest easy, it did not have the worst "conference" of the day.

People's expectations for this E3 were based on the E3's of yeeeaaaarrrsss ago, and that just ain't happening anymore!

Just played Tales of Vesperia on 360.
It looks like Tales of Symphonia with Hi-res graphics. The battle system has people randomly running around smacking monsters.
This is no Lost Odyssey.

WOW! I have had this game pre-ordered for months now (despite it coming out in Nov.) because it harkens back to the grand Sega days of Shining Force and/or Dragon Force...
...BUT THIS GAME IS 'EFFIN BEAUTIFUL...

I want to love Fallout. It looks damn bloody, but too shootery... I hope it has more RPG elements than it appears to have.
