I did a load of saturday updates. Nice to have some COD5 media finally. Like the banner Yo. I would like a space to upload a silly pic or banner like a gamespot sized sig or silly gamingeek weekly pic, though. Just to add flavour. You really improved the news posting function with what you did, it lets me be quick when I need to and re-write when I need to. And because each update is in the bank as it were I don't have this situation where I lose a whole load in one go. Very nice.
I do have a problem with the site which might be kinda difficult for me personally - nothing to do with you or the design. . I will have to PM you. I don't know if I can do that here so I may shoot you a message on 1up. So occasionally go back there over the next week in case I send one.

I wasn't able to quickly think of a good way of letting you upload an image for the week without overwriting the previous week's image, so I just drew up a generic design for the time being. I'll get to that eventually.
I've increased the maximum link size from 100 to 200 characters. The Fatal Frame preview got cut off (I fixed it, though).
Any improvement requests will be easier to get to now that we've got everything going.
On a side note: relieved that the paging kicked in properly. Now just have to make sure it doesn't glitch out on the third page.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. It's reusing the writing page, so it by default has the same action. That should be a quick fix (EDIT: Done -- it redirects now)

I'm a "real-life" friend of Yodariquo. I was an active member of Gamespot, but after the Jeff Gerstmann incident I never moved over to 1up, although I had an account there long before then, it has never been active.

I too enjoy the ability to write the word Fuck and have it show up. Having a community with no T&C in place yet should be an interesting experiment.
Someone fix the World of Destruction news piece! Spelling errors like that make the obsessive compulsive freak in me twitch!
That game's been on my radar for quite some time, along with Band Brother DX, Soma Bringer and Shiren for Wii. God I hope they make it out in the U.S.!

Unlike GameSpot, my filter does the work. I've got an XHTML validator extension for Firefox, so my obsessive compulsiveness demands XHTML validation (which it's not right now because I forgot to strip tags from the news titles. Hrmf).

Bear with the review page, I know it's a little rough. To post a review that is just a score and review text, put everything in "Overall Alternate". To use my review system, use whatever other boxes you like plus Presentation, Controls, Variety, Depth, Audio and Value & Fun.
Fixing up reviews is high priority, so it should get more streamlined soon.

Not really surprising. It was more so just a survey of people who were already into gaming. So the 360 and PS3 lovers were most likely people who had been gaming since the NES or Atari days.
