I just checked GAF and apparently I was wrong.  I wonder why I remember it that way?

And it bit me in the ass. I was on the final day so I went back in time and a door I unlocked was locked again.

GG the pound to open dude is still there, I used him. Also the teleported to the boss was always there. Some fairies have been moved around, not sure if harder or easier, probably easier.

I love what they did with the notebook, questing is so much better now.

I thought time stood still while you were in dungeons in the N64 version.

That's how I remember it as well.

I don't remember that?

Yes I went back to snowhead and suddenly he was there. I guess he's not there on some days.

I like the notebook, I hardly every use it as I have a decentish memory when it comes to this game but it just acts like a diary logging what you already did. It's not like those sheikah stones whice tell you what to do.

I don't remember there being warps back to the boss in the old game. I remember it being a pain in the ass to get spring back in snowhead to get the frog choir and gold dust. here I just redid the boss and that was it.

That's exacly how it worked in the N64. I have no clue what you were doing. Nyaa. I think they added the little cutscene showing the warp, but the warp was always there. Also time always moved in dungeons Travo.

Best thing about the notebook is that it is a log. It is so great not having to remember if you got the heart from a certain mini game.

You guys try the fishing? It's really cool, you got to use the different masks to lure out fish. I just don't know if any prize is attached to it.

I have not.  I've been busy catching robbers and screwing around in the town.  I just picked up the Lens of Truth.

How do I travel to the other areas of the swamp once I kill the Octorok guarding the entrance?  Do I need to find the tour guide again?

Boat tour until you beat the boss.

I did that already.  I have to go beat him again, right?  There's so much I've forgotten.

Once you beat the boss there is no poison you can just swim around. If you reset the days you need to beat the boss again to clear it up, just warp there.

Actually I am totally off on that, there is no handholding just good record keeping.

Travo are you talking about the big octo on the left of the deku palace? That gets unlocked after you return the princess.

No, the one directly behind the tour shop.  It's where the spider house is located.  I'll just have to keep beating Odolwa to clear the water.  It's just so much that I've forgotten.  Majora is almost new to me in many ways.

You can kill it with an arrow and jump into the poison water if you want

Alright, someone clarify something for me 'cause I am running into the same wall I did when I played this on N64... I don't quite understand the "flow" of the game. Are you expected to be able to do "everything" within the three days? I know you can slow time and rewind time, but how do you know what you lose and what you don't? I don't get it. Do you REALLY have to do things like get the Moon Tear and the Deed and all that stuff again and again and again? I imagine you only have to finish the dungeons once, but I feel like I am missing some "point"... Advice, without spoiling anything?

See my messages in this thread. Nyaa Key weapons and items and masks stay.  Everything else is reset.  Moon tears, deeds, coins, bombs, arrows all disappear.  Things like the poisonous swamp are reset.  I sound like I'm bitching about it in my previous posts but I've enjoyed the heck out of it.  I find so much enjoyment out of solving everyone's problems within the confines of those three days.  You study patterns and figure the solutions from there.  Use that Bomber notebook!  That deed is very, very handy.
