Episode 7. Well, a lot of re-tread of Episode 4 and a lot of nostalgia.

But at the point it came out the series deserved a swansong episode and it was a good way to both pay tribute to the past players and introduce a new crew.

I liked it though, certainly a good start to the final three episodes.  Rey was good. Fin was a little too farklemt, for my liking, but he's alright.

I have to say R2D2 is the sleeper hit in this whole Star Wars thing.

What did Quinn think? One thing noticable in the theatre was children seemed to greatly enjoy the sequel saga.

She's enjoyed them all equally I'd say Ep 1 through 8.

My daughter now calls herself She-3PO and walks like him and talks like him.  Not all the time of course.

I guess her pronouns are She-3PO and Her-a Syndalla Nyaa

That's awesome. Star Wars is something that can bridge so many generations. Well you are at the most divisive Star Wars movie ever, episode 8. Let's see how you react to it.

I thought Star Wars Ep 8 was great and 9 only slightly lesser.

I give them some allowance for the nostalgia plays with the cast from 3-6, but it was pushing up to the edge a few times.

In retrospect my thoughts on Rogue One are now more positive.

I started watching Solo last night and it's good as well, but not as much.  Also started watching the tv series Obi Wan, but have seen so much Star Wars in the last two months that it's hard to keep my timeline straight.  Should I watch Mandolorian or some other SW tv instead? I've also re-watched the first Star Wars for some perspective.

But yeah, me and my daughter are hooked, I am totally geeking out about Star Wars now after ignoring since 1978!  It's opened my eyes to not be proud of being "willfully ignorant" which I'll elaborate on in a podcast one day.

The Mandalorian is great. The Boba Fett show not so much.

Yes, the Mandalorian really is a good show. It's basically, what if Star wars was a western. I never checked out the Book of Boba Fett, due to the extremely poor word of mouth.

I did just watch Obi-wan, and I wasn't very impressed with that either. That was a 2-hour movie that they decided to stretch into a six episode series. Honestly, you can watch the first and last episode, and aside from one twist you can see coming from a mile and a half away, you'll get the full experience.

I enjoyed Book of Boba Fett for it's silliness. Dumb fun.

Well you need to see two episodes in the middle of boba Fett which are actually mandalorian episodes. But yeah the Disney shows are fun. Andor so far seems like it will be the best of them, incredible drama.

Watched all the mandalorian available.

Seventh Sword meets Star Wars TNG, which is a good match up. I liked it thoroughly, but definitely "TV Grade" not movie level.  Highly edible.
