Whatever woman made Skies of Arcadia, an all woman team I hear or the chick who was the Phoenix Wright scenario writer. Man, probably Iwata, he doesn't always get it right but he's humble, friendly and I like that he thinks differently and strives for uniqueness.

yes, and shame on us for not knowing her name. +1000

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileIt's kinda sad when our favourite females are voice actors and not devs/producers.
Favorite female in gaming is Roberta Williams - founder of Sierra Online. I'd argue that she her company and her games (the King's Quest series) were the driving force behind the graphic adventure PC game and its evolution. She is retired, but apparently does consult other adventure game designers these days.
Favorite male is a heck of a lot tougher. I'll give it to my good buddy Miyamoto. Pac-Man to Mario to Zelda.... I think that pretty much justifies that.
Honestly, I don't know many developers except for the "superstars" like Miyamoto and CliffyB. Plus the occasional asshole like Phil Fish.
Lori Cole and Corey Cole designed the Quest for Glory series for Sierra (and a bunch of other games too), and they are currently developing Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption which was successfully funded by Kickstarter a while back.
Oh wow I didn't know about this game. I loved the Quest for Glory (it'll always be Hero's Quest to me) series. I always wondered what QGV would have been like had they actually been the ones to work on it. Interesting that they're working together again, since they were divorced a few years ago. Still, good to see they can put that aside and go back to working together. Rogue to Redemption doesn't look half bad..
^ I found out about it from a 4-part interview they did with Matt Barton a little over a year ago:

Am I missing something? What did he have to do with Pac-man?

Shigeru Miyamoto created Pac-man and Toru Iwatani created Donkey Kong . . . hey, wait a minute!

You're so damn old and senile that you will take credit for anything, won't you?
I agree with Jennifer Hale she voiced a lot of my favorite characters.
Favorite man I would say Kazumi Totaka he is a composer and is bold enough to include his signature song in most of the games he worked on. Also he is the voice of Yoshi, Professor E. Gadd, Shy Guy, and Captain Olimar.
