No reason at all. I have stopped playing games as good as RE4, The Witcher, Mario Galaxy 2, for apparently no reason. Maybe it's just me, the norm with me is that beating a game is the exception instead of the rule.

Duke Nukem Forever is the worst case of this, although they give you an achievement if you beat it without skipping the credits.

That's quite funny. At least they have a sense of humour about it. The other day I finished Arkham Asylum, I waited for several minutes for the credits to end so I could switch it off, got annoyed, went and did the washing-up, went downstairs to take out rubbish, got back and the credits were still going

Usually I take out the dog, take a dump, get something to eat and credits are still going.
I always stop playing a game when the end credits are too long
