If your opinion of Bioshock is that its the prettiest game to ever suck donkey balls then we can be opinion brothers.

It is also not pretty. It's not just a not great game, it is poor on EVERY level. I'd like to sit in a room with someone who defends that game and have them explain to me, step-by-step their justification for that horrible game.

I don't not like Arkham City, I gave it an 8.5, I just don't understand why people think it is better than the first one, when in fact it is a bloated retread of the original.

I know Leo and I agree on Crackdown and Deadly Premonition.  I don't think Foolz and I see eye to eye on any games other than Yakuza. So probably Leo, but he tends to favor the artsy-indy stuff on a level I don't get.

Podcast, lets go. Bioshock is one of the greatest FPS of all time. Its INCREDIBLE. Also Arkham City is better than AA but not by much and its much more cause of the extra modes.

How can you say that? We'll save it for the podcast.  I'm blown away though by how you can even say that. It is one of the the worst FPS games of all time. And I've beaten Chicago Enforcer.

I am going to commit to beating it before I say any more about it. After Borderlands and Kingdom Hearts, (which I should be finishing up this week) I will give it a third and final shot to actually beat it. Since I may have been missing some of the appeal of the game in the prior two attempts to play it.

At this point, as a long-time enthusiast of FPS games, I found Bioshock to be a game that controlled poorly, had pathetic level design, ham-fisted psuedo-intellectual blathering and poorly implemented force powers (all wrapped in graphics that made everything look like a tin-toy from the 1930's). It was schlock on the highest level.

But I will try to beat it and see where I come down on it. I give the shittiest games a full play, I should give this one a fair shot as well before casting final judgment on it.

You do know that the majority of people think it's fantastic and it won a bunch of GOTY awards right? I should be asking you how can you not like it.

Yeah I had missed that. The level design is fantastic. So many great setpieces. The force powers are extremely well done. So most of our arguments are simply difference of opinions.

Also I've played about 5 minutes of it, but this is just awesome "(all wrapped in graphics that made everything look like a tin-toy from the 1930's)." That's exactly why the graphics are good. Tin toys from the 1930s>>>>>shitty, terribly composed moving clay sculptures.

I loved the art style of Bioshock and even the premise behind it. But I just didn't like the gameplay at all, and once I got into one of the first big fetch quests they put into the game I really noticed how bad the layout was. Neat idea, not the greatest execution so I will continue to stand by my "prettiest game to suck ass" comment.

Now you know what's a highly rated game that lived up to the hype and totally delivered? Red Dead Redemption. Can I get a hell yeah? Or a yee-haw perhaps?
