Honestly, if SEGA annoucned at E3 a new Phantasy Star by Bioware all done up in Mass Effect's production values, what would your reaction be?

LOL, good luck figuring anything out. Get the keys! Don't fall.

You essentially nailed it, like the Dark Souls of the NES era.

Never played a real Phantasy Star game so I don't know. I would be excited cause its Bioware and Sega making something cool.

The more you think about it, the more totally missed opportunities there are in the games industry. If all the real talent wasn't so split up and divided we could have such amazing collaborations.

I've never played one either but I'd certainly be interested in a bioware /Sega team up.

You should track them down. There's the Phantasy Star Collection on GBA too. They were on the same level as Final Fantasy back then. But with a sci-fi setting.

Konami had some downright old school classics that are completely gone today.  Where is the Rush'N'Attack revival?

Didn't we get a sequel a few years ago?

We need Bad Dudes!  It's the dudebro era, how can we not have Bad Dudes!

And they say video game stories have gotten much better, bah nothing has beaten this yet. (that is so 80s, and that is why 80s were the greatest)

In more recent history, why can't we get a proper Banjo sequel or even a new Conker? We need more collectathon games these days.
