So someone recentely told me that they lived on Butts road in South East England.

I was tempted to ask if that was next to Anus Avenue. Or to make a joke about a dark lane.

It got me thinking, what's the worst possible name for a road that you would have to live on, that you can imagine?

My brother-in-law is from Massachusettes and there was a town named Holden. As a kid he and his friends would frequently call Directory information with the following question. "Can you tell me the phone number for Dick Hurtz from Holden?"

Your brother-in-law's life would be have been greatly enriched if Holden cars were called Holdens in America.

Cause it's funny, I actually know a Darkes Lane. Can you imagine if Butts road intersected with Darkes Lane?

Here in Mexico we have some awful street names, but they're mostly uninspired. There's a street called Tuna (Atún, in spanish), as well as other ones called Shrimp or Squid. There's a street in Mexico City which is Calle (street) Stalin, lol. The kicker? It's next to another street named Trotsky. They're both pretty near to a street named Syberia.

There's a an avenue in Spain named "Super Mario Bros."
