Yup. What you should do is pick up the shittiest game available in your backlog.
Play something of a different genre? Shouldn't be hard after playing VC2.
Don't force playing a game you don't really want to play it will just ruin it for you. Wait a bit and get something that really inerests you.
Otherwise internet porn I suppose.
Yeah, the Good Game Blues...
Only one solution, go different genre plus low expectation. I usually play PS2 era FPS games, works every time.

I jerk off whilst playing a great game.
I recalled one good way to deal with the post-good game blues. Replay another good game that you've played before. Comfort gaming! So with that, Persona 3 and NiGHTS are back in full swing.
Complain about bad games on message boards for a while until another good game comes along.
Listen to Iced Earth and play Doom

So that's why you like the Wii remote so much!

And that's why his teeth are chipped.
So I finished up Valkyria Chronicles 2 yesterday. Not quite as good as its predecessor, but this game was still no slouch. WIthout question one of the best games I've played this year. But now come a difficult situation that I often find myself in. What to play next after you play something so good? Games that are okay just seem weak and barely playable. I tried giving Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time a shot, but god it was bad. Probably isn't a terrible game. Got some okay reviews, but I don't think I can give a real go for now.
Anyone else run into this? You play a great game and then everything seems pale in comparison afterwards?
