Post a short bio, and a clip/video of your favourite song.

I choose Sumika, here on my favourite track Regret.

sumika
sumika is a rock band from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture formed in 2013.

I think the voice of the main singer complements the instrumentals perfectly. It's peppy, breathless, packed with energy and leaves you in a good mood. They have a lot of songs and most of them are winners too. Notable tracks include Magic,  Fiction and more.

Actually, I think Magic may be my favourite track.

I have listened to that song and may give it a few more listens to see how it goes. It's reminiscent of something I can't quite remember. Sounds quite smooth.

Now I'll go with a song by an Israeli singer (and also actor). I get a sense of mystery from this one and I wish I could understand the lyrics without using an online translator.

Listening now.

Wow, never heard a song sang in Hebrew before. Also that girl looks like someone I went to school with. Also given the characters (letters) how would one even search for these songs with an English keyboard?

It is mysterious, now I want to know what he's singing about.

I will say Covet they're a Math Rock group which "is characterized by complex, atypical rhythmic structures (including irregular stopping and starting), counterpoint, odd time signatures, angular melodies, and extended, often dissonant, chords."

They have two albums currently: Currents (which features songs inspired by the Ocean) and Covet on Audiotree Live.

They're currently working on a new album.

Here is the full audio of there first album from their YouTube channel

It's only 23 minutes long.

I was making a bad joke: they're quite well known, but if you hadn't heard them try this song. Very smooth. But lyrics are what they're best at.

Given I'm posting k-pop, may as well include the Crayon Pop Christmas song from my sig.

Last but not least, 24K; which is sort of like a dub-step version of Die Antwoord, but without a great rapper. They're more like a band than a k-pop group, with the members making everything themselves, including the choreography, which is exceptional.

Now my secret shame (of being familiar with k-pop) has been revealed to the world. Sad

I can't remember the last new music group or whatever I got into. But I listen to a whole bunch of old groups that most people have never heard of.

I think they used the first track on commercials here. I like it, sounds kinda 80s too.

Something addictive about their music, I think Bugs would like it.

LOL at the Crayon Pop video, something about the dance moves make me laugh.

The only K-pop group I know is Clazziquai project - Speak of Love being my favourite track. I know them from an M-Flo track they did with Alex from the group.

Actually I also know Akdong. 200% is the best track or Give Love

Finnish folk music by Värttinä. I might as well add one here while I'm posting links. I have one of those Crayon Pop albums on Spotify, but I have not listened to it. I'm sure I've listened to a single song at least.
