Your Mom.
Your mom bombed in the toilet after we had nekkid sex together. Go suck it fanbaby.
Well, it would have to be a game for which there were great expectations. So with that in mind, Starfox for Wii U, SimCity reboot on PC was much greater in scale. Destiny when it launched and for about 6 months was a wreck. Disney Infinity was a big flame out. Titanfall did not catch on. Infamous on PS4 failed. Everything on 3DS failed I am sure I am missing many more.
Anything on the Wii U that didn't have Mario in it or didn't look like it was designed for babies.
The replies in this thread are why we can't have nice things anymore.
In all honnesty: Metroid Prime Federation Force. Didn't even break into the top 20, meaning it sold less than 4.451 copies in it's opening week in Japan.
- Codename Steam I guess? I did feel it was unfair that they didn't amend the reviews when the one big problem was quickly patched out.
- Zombi U - USA sites didn't like it and the sales were low?
- Ryse
- The Order
- Knack
- Killzone Shadowfall?
Sony first party has been kind of crappy this gen. The Order failed, Until Dawn didnt sell well, LBP3 was a bust, Driveclub tanked the developer. Battleborn is a massive bomb. Evolve sucked and no one bought it. Quantum Break has not done well. AC has been dying out. Titanfall was said, it didnt stay popular.

Yeah. I know. I enjoyed the Zelda game while I played it though.

Man makes good points.

Yep, and as much as I love Uncharted 4, it was sorely lacking major setpieces that made the previous games as fun. The only game this year that truly delivered and did not disappoint in one way or another is The Witness.

Until Dawn was really great, but I guess that was 2015.
I've been very happy with games this year actually (on PC. PS4 and Xb1). Mostly PC, that's were the new stuff is.

I haven't been disappointed by much at all this year. DOOM was awesome, Deus ex is awesome.
Actually, I think those are the only two games I've played that came out this year. Besides No Man's Sky...but I wasn't expecting Mass Effect there. Kind of interested in The Witness but $40? Really? And as time passes this game's hipster crowd turns me off.

And you give me shit over playing Splatoon!
I don't think Titanfall bombed, it died quicker than it should have, but critically I think most people accepted that the core gameplay was damn good, there just wasn't enough of it. And in the case of the PC audience, the skill ceiling isn't there for that audience to get behind it. We're talking about a platform whose player count revolves heavily around the likes of Dota, Starcraft, and Counterstrike, not exactly the Call of Duty loving audience.
Battleborn was Gearbox's new bet, and it came and went, because will because it's a fucking diet moba at 60 bucks, oh and Overwatch became a thing, very quickly.
Evolve was supposed to be a hot ticket new ip for 2k, it always made great initial impressions because the concept is badass, and then it went out of its way to piss off the player base.
The PC version of Arkham Knight is a bomb. Warner Bros is deserving of a big fuck you there.
Critically Destiny and No Man Sky were hyped up to be better, and were more or less Spore-ing it up.
I don't know triple A space in general on these new machines fucking blows ass cheeks.
The list so far according to you guys:
