NAND flash is a methodology of flash memory storage named after the transistors it uses resembling a NAND gate (if all inputs are true, output false). This is contrastable to the older NOR flash.
The quoted sentence seems nonsensical because NAND flash is the dominant format, so unless Nintendo is even more backward than anyone has ever imagined and didn't both to use the latest technology of the 80s in the DS, DS cartridges already use NAND flash memory.
EDIT: There is one reason I could possible see DS cartridges using NOR flash, which execution can technically be run directly without loading into RAM first, so you might be able to cheat a bit to work kind of like you have more RAM than the system actually has. That said, that would probably be quite slow. I don't know enough about the distinctions to say if that would be useful.

There were mulitiple sources featuring the use of NAND as being something unique to DIY... (in addition to the Wiki page) so... don't know.
I thought this was a wii ware and dsi ware game?
I like the idea of UCC, but in the end I'm too lazy to do it and I prefer to rely on the game makers and not the community to do it.
aspro said:^Nope full game. I doubt I'll make many games either, but it comes with plenty enough, and I dig the Wii compatibility. Has any DS game had Wii connectivity yet?
Guitar Hero V had it and possibly World Tour. Guitar Hero V actually did some incredible things with it too. You could enter "roadie" mode and sabotage other players if you were doing head to head contests. You could also alter stages and a few other things with it. Lot of neat features really that felt like they were a part of the game rather than just cheap add-ons. So much so that most reviewers actually considered the Wii version the best version of the game.
So no love for this upcoming Wario Ware game? Has anyone enjoyed any o fthe Wario games beyond the first one? I have Twisted and Touch, but they don't measure up to the original.

It was okay.

It was okay.
Foolz said:Hey I played it perfectly fine with my left hard. I didn't require the most precise of control.
Your right hand was otherwise occupied I'm assuming.

With a throbbing cock.
When I first heard the title of the seventh WarioWare game, I was not that enthused. The WarioWare titles have been less and less enthralling with each iteration and now they want US to make the games? But now more news is coming out about it, particularly after the recent summit, so I figured I'd throw together some information about it.
If you have never played the original WarioWare... well find a way to. It's one of the best twitch games of all time.
From Wiki, "WarioWare D.I.Y. allows players to design their own microgames, creating their own graphics, music and designing a 'cassette' for them. Due to its cross-compatibility with the Wii, the gameplay is restricted to tapping mechanics. When creating the music, the player can sing through the DS's microphone, which the DS then converts into notes. These notes can then be performed by various instruments such as pig noises, similar to music creation in Mario Paint.
Players can send their creations to other D.I.Y. owners or receive other people's works. They can also be uploaded to Nintendo Wi-Fi connection for contest purposes. Microgames made available by Nintendo can be downloaded, too. Additionally, the WiiWare game WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase, allows users to play the microgames on the Wii with the Wii remote's pointer."
+Okay, so sounds pretty good. The cart comes with 90 games from Nintendo and another 72 from users in Japan that have already had the game for a while. Another interesting thing about the game is it is using a new form of cartridge that has greater storage capacity, something called a NAND cartridge. If anyone has any photo's please post them.
The press response has been mixed, to skewing positive. It seems like it will be received a lot like Scribblenauts -- that is your enjoyment will be limited by your imagination (so I'm guessing most professional reviewers will hate it).
If anyone can find screens, please add them.
