What is this Matt Hazard game? I saw a couple of previews that made out like it was a famous old franchise? I never heard of it before.
BTW if anyone buys Chop till you Drop, it's insta-ban time!

That's actually pretty clever. If people think it's a sequel to a great old franchise, then they may be more likely to buy it.

Huh? It works fine on all three of my browsers: Opera, IE7, and Firefox.
Here's the actual link: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6198231.html
Eat Lead, Star Ocean and Killzone 2 for me. Thanks for the update Leo, I know they take a lot of effort and time.
I also pre-ordered Madworld since it was $10 off at amazon.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope (360): "Star Ocean: The Last Hope is not an RPG for the ages, but it is a lot of fun to play. The way the story is delivered, through awkward dialogue and drawn out cutscenes, could be a lot better. The strong points of The Last Hope, namely the combat and level progression, keep things lively and engaging and help make this one a good way to kick off your JRPG gaming for 2009." -- 8.0 / 10 IGN.Com Review
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix (NDS, PSP, 360 and PSN): "Infinite Interactive took what worked in Puzzle Quest and expanded it into an even bigger, longer game. That means if you are a fan of PQ, Galactrix will hook you all over again. The zero gravity puzzle game is slightly more complex, and there is an entire galaxy of quests, mini-games, and characters to get lost in. Some interface hiccups mar the presentation and the visuals aren't all that impressive, but the core gameplay is rock solid. Plus, the music is fantastic. The developers really hit on something with the Puzzle Quest formula, and I'll be on board as long as they can keep it." -- 8.4 / 10 DS.IGN.Com Review
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand (PS3, 360): "Swordfish Studios has taken a knowing and often wry eye to the swagger of the 50 Cent juggernaut, and in the process created a near-perfect popcorn game. Its gunplay is solid and backed up by a plethora of neat ideas, its co-op is strong and there's an undercurrent of savvy humour that helps to negate the heavy posturing and more dubious elements of the paper thin plot. Ultimately, the pattern of play becomes too familiar too quickly, but while it lasts Blood on the Sand is a smile-inducing blast." -- 7.6 / 10 IGN UK Review
Looks like another really good week for games. I'm definately grabbing Star Ocean The Last Hope and Galactrix (XBLA). I might check out Matt Hazard sometime but it'll most likely be a rental since money will be tight and Street Fighter IV, Halo Wars, and Resident Evil 5 are next on my purchase list.
Star Ocean: The Last Hope (360):
"Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fourth entry in the futuristic space opera RPG series, the long-awaited continuation of the celebrated science fiction and fantasy RPG series. This prequel set during the aftermath of World War III combines sci-fi and fantasy elements spanning multiple planets and the vastness of space itself to recount the origins of the Star Ocean universe. Exhilarating combat expands upon the franchise's famous real-time battle system, introducing amazing graphics and next-gen visual effects."

Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop (Wii):
"Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop delivers a more immersive, intuitive and interactive experience as players use the Wii Remote to shoot, slash and bludgeon their way through a zombie infested shopping mall, fighting for survival.
The game follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance journalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. In pursuit of a juicy lead, he makes his way to the small suburban town of Willamette only to find that it has become overrun by zombies. Frank escapes to the local shopping mall, thinking it will be a bastion of safety but it turns out to be anything but. It will be a true struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies, but players will have full reign of a realistic shopping center and its varied stores offering an endless supply of real and makeshift weapons to fight off the flesh-hungry mob. If Frank is running low on health he can pay a visit to one of the many restaurants or cafes for a meal in order to restore his energy and continue the fight. It's a brutal fight, but with no end in sight to this zombie onslaught, Frank bides his time by messing around with a variety of comedic costumes and making use of improvised and sometimes highly ineffective weapons such as a toy sword or a football."

Flock (360 and PSN):
"Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a ... lovable animal-herding UFO! In Flock, players take control of an alien UFO that is tasked with herding animals to its mothership through a variety of interactive levels. Players will have to overcome the stubbornness of the temperamental beasts (this may require the use of fear, or amorous yearnings, etc.), as well as a series of environmental puzzles that must be solved using Flock's physics-based gameplay. By finding or making a passable route, players can herd the animals safely toward the ship. Solving the puzzles within the suggested time limit yields exciting rewards. But players can also take their time to find more hidden bonuses.
Flock uses a sophisticated physics engine that drives the challenging puzzle elements of the game. Whether it's using the Tractor beam to move obstacles out of the way, or the Depressor beam to stamp out crop circles to guide your herds, being an extraterrestrial has never been this addictive. Friends can also join in through co-op play. And when all the levels have been completed, users can make their own with the level editor that comes with the game."
**Available on 360: Tuesday, February 24th, 2009. Available on PSN: Thursday, February 26th, 2009.**
