After some cool ideas at the start the thing starts to show that its kind of a mess. Its got technical issues and the gunplay is just bad. Its got some good ideas though.

Are the technical issues due to poor emulation on 360? I found Return to Castle Wolfenstein unplayable on the later levels due to a horrid frame rate on the Xbox 360, but it plays just fine on an original Xbox.

No this is all in game stuff, has nothing to do with emulation.

It's just bad, worse is that this game thinks its a shooter there is constant battles in almost ever room. The game reminds me of some 90s PC game, it has a lot of interesting concepts but totally fails at compelling combat, enemies, or boss battles.

These backlog games have not been kind to you, have they?  I'm sure Bulletstorm will be a better experience for you.

I am pretty sure this is now a grand conspiracy to make me hate games. Nyaa

Though I think I prefer the thing to the other two.

Holy fuck what a complete shit fest the ending of The Thing is. I almost want to write the review right now just so I dont forget the giant list of stupidy that occurs. What a damn shame.

One thing I definetly know is that this has been the greatest generation, games have never been better, and polish is GREAT. Cant believe games like that used to be acceptable.

Bulletstorm wins. next category is

GME'S LOSER PICKS

Poor GME is 0-4 in voting so far but his choices seem way better than what has been picked so he gets his own category. That said I am removing Rage from the list simply cause I dont want to play it right now and you guys will probably find a way to screw up the vote and pick that so I am removing the option.

1. Super Meat Boy

2. Sleeping Dogs

3. Silent Hill Homecoming
