Never once have I had a problem with the sony stick placement, same goes the other way. BTW the Wii U has the sticks on the same level.
Uptown and Downtown are very different places to be. Also outies vs innies.

You no want vader mode? I could finish the hard parts for you.
Honestly, a cheaper price, more cheery less serious brofist games and a half acceptable price. And no game install bullshit. Backwards compatibility too.
So basically everything PS3 should have been.
I would have liked a less graphics focused system with a HMD or something.
I kinda feel the same as this Forbes article, except for the cellphone tablet crap. I feel that Sony have built ps4 like they built the ps3, with the idea that he with the best specs wins.

So you want the wii u again. Why would you want two of the same system?

They designed this system very different from the PS3. It was designed by western devs for western devs. They made sure this machine has everything devs want. That is the opposite of the ps3 where they made what they wanted and said screw you work on this. This time the best versions of all third party games will be on ps4.
Lol at the Doritos Pope hat. Archie also rides in a Slim Jim sponsored Pope Mobile.

Snap into a Slim Jim! Oooooh yeah!

How have you been enjoying the 360?

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileTime to let the cat out of the bag. I wasn't "crapping on anything" and I wasn't as disappointed as I made it sound with the conference. I just remain skeptical because, after this generation, Sony has A LOT to prove. The controller isn't as pretty as I would have liked, but the track pad is intriguing, the texture of the body is much more appealing now and the triggers do look nice.
The hardware does sound impressive with its gobs of ram, powerful processor, cutting edge graphics card and ability to move tons of data quickly. The fact that they made it easier to develop for (more like a PC) actually DOES mean they learned something from this past generation and have taken steps to correct their past mistakes.
I will admit that I AM a sucker for Particle Effects (see Borderlands 2 PC), but it seemed as if, with EVERYTHING they were talking about hardware-wise, this is what they seemed to showcase the most. Knack is ALL about just that, but, my god, are the characters and Knack UG-LY. Until proven otherwise, I am looking at it as the Folklore of the PS4 launch.
The streaming IS impressive, and does suggest they are trying to support ALL of their machines in more of a way than any other company has so far --BUT-- it is --ALL-- reliant on Gaikai and a --VERY-- fast network. Again, after this past generation, I have NO FAITH in a Playstation Network. This could be their greatest feature --OR-- biggest obstacle, and until I witness it first hand, I am going to remain doubtful.
You have to understand, I hardly post on GameSpot anymore, because any time I do, the ANTI-Nintendo brigade is RIGHT THERE, CRAPPING ON everything Nintendo, EVERY DAY, and they ALL happen to be SONY fans. It is not my general nature to meet negativity with negativity --BUT-- these conferences... they are so full of overblown hype, PR spin, carefully crafted Speeches and Testimonial, that my sarcasm center of my brain goes into overdrive and I feel the need to give back what I hear the rest of the 364 days of the year.
I have a feeling the difference between the $429 and $529 systems will be MOVE, and if that's the case, I would go for the cheaper alternative, again, because accessories are getting to be ridiculous. Except for Media Molecule's... thing... Move wasn't a big focus last night and for that I am glad.
Except for very, very recently, I have always been the "sit in a dark room and enjoy games on my own" type of guy. I don't actively participate in Social Networks; I don't even want to think what Facebook is going to become or look like after millions of people start posting 10 minute videos of headshots in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 every 10 minutes.
...and as for Vader mode. Just like the "nice" reminders to Skip Levels in Rayman or the FUCKING DING DONG DOORBELL BLOCKS in NSMB Wii U, giving up, asking for help or ESPECIALLY letting someone else play my game for me... NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
I wasn't bowled over by any of the games I saw. If I HAD TO pick something to play, it would probably be inFamous. I'm not a racing fan. Killzone, I never even got into the series on PS3, playing ONLY multiplayer with Travo and Yoda. Deep Down **giggle!** --IS-- Dragon's Dogma 2. Looking back at playing Dogma, I was depserate to fill a Skyrim void at the time, I didn't have a 360 at that point, I made the best out of it... but... Japanese games like this... kinda suck. There are certain aspects of Western RPG's that they'll never "get" and DD is most likely going to be the same, albeit pretty. I don't like Quantic Dream's stuff. Square's stuff was embarassing... Braid... really wasn't all that great... the way they hyped up Blow's next game... I hope that was just to prove they are supporting indie's and NOT just HIM. I say inFamous, but I really didn't even like 2 all that much. Superhero games are usually great but Sucker Punch still is NOT a world-class developer. So far, there's really no "System Seller" for me!
There really wasn't anything that makes me want to buy right away too. I just love seeing what each console will have to offer. I still need to pick up the U first.
DO LIKE: Graphics, Processing Power, Ease of Development. Evolution, not abandoning, of the Dual Shock. Instant pick up and play of previous Game State. David Perry's package.
DON'T LIKE: No backwards compatibility, Superfluous Social Network stuff. MORE accessories. Double CREEPY Ubi Watch Dog guy and Sucker Punch drama queen!
UNKNOWN: Streaming and PSN.
I also get the feeling that they are downplaying Japan too. Sure Square was there, Ono was there... but the architecture is more like a PC. It seems like it was more custom made for Western Developers than Eastern... and that concerns me. I need my Japanese games!

I am a crazy person that wants it all. I don't count.

Yeah I think since the team that designed the PS4 is Western Team they focused more on the Western audience.
I would like to see Eastern and Western games.

Japan is downplaying Japan.
Seriously though this conference was in English and in the US. Japan gets their conference in a couple of weeks.
