Yoda I am very happy that you are enjoying Retro Game Challenge. I thoroghly enjoyed the games and the charm of the title. The video game magazines within the game were written by Casey Loe and Dave Halverson (formerly of GameFan, then Play -- Casey is now on Warning A Huge Podcast).
I thought that the RPG level was painfully long, so I made Mrs. Aspro play that for me (I play enough antiquated JRPG's as it is). I really loved the racing game in it as well.
To be clear though, and you may understand this, it's not a collection of old games -- all those games were made specifically for this new release.

I cheated and listened a tiny bit tonight. (God I need to go to sleep!)
I was sooo excited to hear someone else other than Aspro and I talk about Deadly Premonition.
I sat through 97 minutes of Steam Talk, Basketball, Oddworld and Prince of Persia... only to get a description of the Deadly Premonition installation bar!

Yeah, that was my reaction too. When you do finish the game, I am going to link you a podcast that you'll gobble up -- like 2 hours of nothing but DP.
I'm halfway through the area leading to the Showdown with the NRK.
(I have no idea why I am still awake.)
That part can be annoying (in terms of where to go). And there is a fair bit after that, so might be a good time to stop and sleep.

No chance, I'm dumping it when my trial is over. I can do so much better with a Blockbuster pass, it may not have the selection but I can play about 12 games in a month, rather than 3.

Gamefly sucks! I joined two years ago, during the summer break and kept the membership for about two months. I never got anything higher than my number four pick. Gamefly told me that they didn't have any of my other titles, so they were gonna send me God Of war 2, my number seven pick. Two weeks later, I never received the game and the status said that it was still on the way. I cancelled my membership and left a comment to not deliver the game. Guess what was in the mail the next day?
